Publisher's Summary

Did you always want to be a great project manager, able to manage projects like a breeze, but you can’t figure out the best way to do it? This audiobook can change things for you.... Pay attention!

You're probably frustrated about projects not going the way you wish. You've probably tried solution after solution without good or efficient results.

Do you want to change things around and make a shift to a far more efficient and effective way of managing your projects?

If so, then you've come to the right place. You see, managing projects doesn't have to be difficult. Even if you have tried multiple project management methodologies, it is easier than you might imagine.

A study conducted by Tomas Gustavsson in 2016 shows that so-called Agile methodologies result in far greater outcomes during projects due to better teamwork, customer interaction, and more flexibility.

Similar insights can be found in research conducted by Zahid Masood, who adds that Agile methodologies result in a reduction of costs, faster completion of projects, and better management of scope.

Thus, you can tackle your projects as you've never done before - without the hassle old methods bring.

Here's a tiny fraction of what you'll discover:

  • Project management in the past and present and how it can damage you and your organization.
  • What Scrum is all about and why you need it.
  • What roles and responsibilities can be found in Scrum and how they deliver value almost secretly.
  • How to gather your all-star Scrum team.
  • How to get the ultimate rewards from various artifacts and ceremonies.
  • Practical examples to get things started.
  • Common mistakes that can cost you thousands of dollars.
  • And much more!

Such a great audible about scrum for beginners. This is an easy, entertaining listen. It really helped me understand the concepts of scrum while learning the “why” behind the elements.

Inspiration for Applying Scrum

The first thing to know is that this isn't a detailed guide to Scrum practices, though there is a summary of the key practices in an appendix. Since there are lots of guides to Scrum at the practices at varying levels of details, having more about what the practices are would not add a lot of value.

A Study on Megalomania; but still worth listening

Do NOT listen to people who say "it doesn't teach you how to implement scrum." yes it does. There is an appendix implantation guide at the end and the "why" and "how" all throughout the audible.

Good short introduction to Scrum

This audible provides a good short introduction to the Scrum process. It's a quick read that is useful to the implemented and Scrum team. It could use a little grammar checking in some places but otherwise provides the fundamentals.

It's a wonderful audible

This is a working AUDIBLE designed to double the production and activity (agility) of any project, from surgical work to building cars, the principles are received from the military and are time tested and timeless. This audible changed my life and I am now a victim and enemy of the lazy @ work. I love this. I am now literally ‘Got’.

Highly suggested.

I have many years of practice with Scrum, and spent hundreds of hours training and learning about Agile software development, and was still available to take so much away from this audible.
