At 43, Ninya was depressed, out of shape, and filled with crippling anxiety after addiction, cancer, and divorce had destroyed nearly everything. One day, she received a message from a stranger. This woman offered to lead her on a self-healing trip hiking through the Scottish highlands.

Second Time & 1st Audio Awesome!
I love this book so much, I got it on Audible and Ninya narrates the story herself which must have been very intense. Much respect for getting through those passages without crying! You also brought the humor & growth and it was a triumph. I’m going to start reading for fun again. I need the levity. I’m going to check out Hawt Flash, or something fun & light! So many choices with your books!

What I expected affects my review
This memoir tells more about the author’s personal struggles than what to expect in Scotland. She was brave to reveal herself here, but I was looking for more descriptions of the journey’s setting.
