Publisher's Summary

For thousands of years, Man has searched, pondered, and speculated about the true "meaning of life". But in Scientology, that search has culminated - for the secret has now been discovered. Based on precision Axioms (self-evident truths), these are the answers - answers you've been looking for, answers that work.

Here, then, is the Basic Book on the Theory and Practice of Scientology, with discoveries embracing every aspect of life, including:

  • The Cycle-of-Action, revealing what underlies the continuous cycle of creation, survival, and destruction - a cycle that seems inevitable in life, but which is only an apparency
  • The Conditions of Existence that comprise all life and livingness - and by which one can truly Be
  • The Eight Dynamics upon which all life is compartmented and by which one can resolve the puzzle of one's own existence
  • The Affinity, Reality, and Communication Triangle, revealing and explaining the underlying principles of true human relations
  • The Parts of Man, the comprehensive explanation of Spirit, Mind, and Body, their anatomy and interrelationship in every being
  • The Reason Why, answering the questions of "what it's all about" and giving the very elements of survival, happiness, and life itself
  • Scientology Processes that unlock the life force that is you

With this book, you won't just "learn" - you'll discover these principles for yourself. Because this is Scientology - the knowledge of you.

Not for audiobooks

Great book but doesn't translate into audio due to charts and tests and fold outs that are needed.

confusing but very very interesting

This book has to be one of the most interesting books I had. It is hard to comprehend at first but it starts to open up after the 2nd and 3rd time around. I own lots of book about different religions and beliefs but I must say this is new to me. Confusing but very interesting

This was a good book. I am not a scientologist nor do I hope of becoming one in the future. However the concepts in this book were quite interesting. Something one should atleast have a look at it.

Fraud

This is essentially a bunch of new age none sense mixed with Buddhism. Your better off using this book as kindling.

It is possible to know about the mind, spirit and

Where does Scientology rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Well, it's definitely one of my favorites!

What did you like best about this story?

It's non-fiction. Gave me ideas about how to change my outlook on life.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The parts of man. We are a spirit and have a body and have a mind. Not a body that has a soul.

THE THOUGHTS THAT INFLUENCED NATIONS

What made the experience of listening to Scientology the most enjoyable?

Scientology encapsulates what it means to be human. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book as I could really relate to it, I believe most people would because that's who it is written about. Its a self help book and nothing short of inspiring! I have like you read many negative opinions about Scientology however, seen nothing threatening or cult like from the pages of this book. I believe in life you should always arrive at your own conclusions about something and if you believe it to be right or wrong, good or bad, that's all that really matters because we are all different at the end of the day and life wouldn't be much fun if we weren't.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Me

Which scene did you most enjoy?

All

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both

Any additional comments?

Judge it for yourselves.
