Publisher's Summary

Claire Connolly is a Sensitive, infected with magic when the Veil that divides humanity from the world beyond fell. Magic can easily consume and destroy a Sensitive, and if Claire's secret is discovered, she'll be locked into the walled district of Devil's Isle along with every other Paranormal left in the city.

Bounty hunter Liam Quinn discovered Claire's secret but refused to turn her in. Together they saved New Orleans from the resurgence of magic that nearly destroyed it. But now a dangerous cult is on the rise, and it will take both Claire and Liam - and magical allies within Devil's Isle's towering walls - to defeat the occult threat before magic corrupts them both.

Amy Landon is best for Chloe Neill's exceptional read

Where does The Sight rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's at the top of the list due to Ms. Landon's ability to make vocal changes between characters. You are able to tell who the character is without their name being specified.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Sight?

Liam and Claire finally giving in to their feelings for each other.

What does Amy Landon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love to read but listening to a book allows you to do other things without missing your " reading time ".

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Liam and Claire found the hidden house under a gas station.

Great 2nd book!!

I love Chloe Neill, but only "liked" the first book in this series... SO glad I stuck with It! The Sight was impossible to "put down", and I have no idea how I'll make it until September for book 3. Excellent characters, and the plot is so compelling. I highly recommend this book!

Great

In the first few chapters, the story was slow. Then, it was jaw dropping. I love this book better than the first one because in this one, we find out reveillons motives. Claire and Liam finally talk about their feelings. And I did not expect this ending. Amy Landon did an amazing job narrating and performing each character at a different tone can't wait to read the next book.

War is coming. Which side are you on?

Any additional comments?

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 4 1/2
The Sight is the second book in Chloe Neill’s Devil’s Isle series (I would highly suggest reading book one before you open this book) and boy howdy is this a good book!!! There is so much that happens both good and bad in this book I am not sure where to start without giving anything away.
But war is coming to the Quarter and Devil’s Isle and not all will survive. And those who do may never see the world the same again.
There is so so so much I could tell you but I won’t. You need to pick up a copy of The Veil (bk 1 Devil’s Isle) and get started in this series.
I had the great pleasure of listening to this book on audible and Amy Landon does a wonderful job yet again!! But even if Ms. Neill took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and left me yell at my audiobook many times I have faith that she will make right any and all the wrongs that happened in The Sight. I am super excited and depressed at the same time. Excited for the next book and depressed I have to wait another year to find out what happens. It is going to be a very long year of waiting.

this book is a continuation of clean meals new series. Story continues with Claire and Liam fighting a new bad guy. Twists and turns throughout the story with an explosive finale. Chloe Neill writes an awesome book! the narrator is superb and is able to give life to the characters from the story. definitely a must read.
