Publisher's Summary

Something called "the blue juice" is coming. For all of us.

Luckily, me (Chip Collins), Pete, Nikola Tesla, Bobo, and FBI Agent Gina Phillips are here to kick its ass, and send it back to last Tuesday. Maybe. Or maybe we'll fail, and everyone in the multiverse is doomed. (Seriously, you might want to get that underground bunker ready.) Either way, I've got to get home to Julie and find out - woah, I'm not about to tell you that right here in the book description! TMI.

WARNING: If you haven't heard Where the Hell is Tesla?, I apologize in advance, as you might get completely freaking lost. If you do, just call my apartment, I'm usually around, and I'll fill you in. (If I'm not stuck in the ITA.) - Chip

    "Solid Sequel"

When I saw this book was released I was ecstatic. I am pretty sure Rob Dircks is one of the best audible narrators around (because who better to narrate their book but the authors themselves) so I knew I would enjoy this book come hell or high water. Surprise, I did. I will say, just as most sequels go, it wasn't the original. In my opinion Where the Hell is Tesla is next to perfect. Not only was it a great story it was also completely hilarious. The sequel was still fun to listen to and worth the listen 100%.

    "Another excellent story"

I laughed out loud on several occasions all while being riveted to the narrative!

This is definitely a book to read over and over again!

    "Perfect Sequel"
Would you listen to Don't Touch the Blue Stuff! again? Why?

Yes, there are so many jokes and subtle references I'm sure I missed them.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Don't Touch the Blue Stuff!?

    The very last line.

Have you listened to any of Rob Dircks’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, just as good, perhaps a bit better but shorter?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    The very last line.

    Any additional comments?

Great followup to a good first book. The format of the first book is a bit odd, but it worked, and surprisingly it worked for the sequel too. Nice mix of sappy and funny parts of the book really make this a fun and fast read.

    "Fun read! Great sequel! "

Rob presents an audio delight as only an author can narrate his works. The enthusiasm and excitement is contagious! Laughing out loud while driving can be a bit dangerous as I often missed necessary exit ramps but then I did get to listen to more as it took longer to arrive at my destination. Do yourself a favor and read this series in order. Thank you Rob Dircks!

"Fun listen - Michael Crichton meets Seth Rogan"

So glad I downloaded this Audible title. It took the adventure of Where The Hell Is Tesla to a whole new level. You know, it’s rare that an author such an understanding of metaphysics and comedy. It’s like Michael Crichton got together with Seth Rogen and brainstormed an unpredictable journey through parallel universes. Rob Dircks introduces some new characters in this follow-up novel that really expand the story and introduce subtle, nuanced themes like parenthood, human connectedness and spiritual energy. That said, he doesn’t force feed it to you but rather weaves it in to the story so that you’re laughing while you’re pondering deeper philosophical thoughts. Great Audible!

"I can't believe I end up liking Chip sometimes"

Chip is the type of guy responsible people would like to punch in the face but I think I laughed more than when listening to "Where the Hell is Tesla?" book 1(maybe even more laughs than "The Wrong Unit") and it is really fun to hear Tesla (the man not the band) in a non steampunk fiction.
Maybe the constant emails Chip writes to that young woman remind me of the letters I wrote my wife when I was deployed when we deployed including the not knowing if see would get them before I got home.

    "Most Imaginative audible read ever"

Thanks Rob Dircks for such a unique fun thoughtful two books. So glad I took the chance to listen to book one. Fellow reader/listener do yourself a favor and hop into the ITA. Rob was as good a narrator as any others I have heard. Readers will never know how good a singer Rob is so I’m glad to be a n audible listener.

    "Awesome!!"

Love this book loved the first one too! Humor and sentimental sweetness like a warm hug but not a weird or too long hug. Just right!
