After the last book I was ready to dive in and see what the heroine has been through. It wasn’t easy and this was a bit more of a slow burn. If you’ve read this author before you know her books are at times angsty and she likes to keep us on our toes. My favorite of the series is still book one but overall I enjoyed all 3.

Scared to Love is the final book in the Mazzone Mafia series/trilogy and what an ending it was. Serena's past is rough and Alesso is patient. I loved how Siobhan Davis deals with Serena's trauma and her ability to survive and, eventually thrive.

This series is insane with unexpected enemies and alliances. Bonds formed and broken and a ton of action. I love that all the women are strong and survivors and that the guy, hardened mafia med fall hard for their women, frighting for and with them. Scared to Love is an epic conclusion to this series. I didn't want to stop listening and would listen whenever I had a moment. Action-packed and thrilling this is an amazing trilogy and if you love mafia romance the Siobhan Davis's Mazzone Mafia is one of the better ones I've read.

Good ending

I enjoyed this book good ending to the series book 1 was my favorite but book 2-3 were good too, good story the narrators did a great job. I can't wait for more books from this author

Chance to Love, To Heal, To Become Strong

This is the 3rd book in the series, but the first book for me. I am anxious now to listen to the first two books! You are able to enjoy and follow this book even if you haven’t read/listened to the previous books.
A woman, Serena, places in a mafia marriage to a man as old as her father and extremely abusive. Inexperienced and with no one to turn to, she has two children she loves and sees no end to her torment. However, one night a kiss with a ‘younger made man’ and the death of her husband provides a chance at a better future...
The man she had kissed knows she is the woman for him, that she and her children are the family he has always wanted.
I adored the H and the h in this book. Things weren’t always smooth, but each one had obstacles and the strength of character and ability to love that pulled them through.
Strongly encourage if you like mafia thrones ..this is a series to download!
The narrators were perfect and the dual narration very well done.

Absolutely loved this one!

Alesso and Serena are so perfect for each other. Soul Mates for sure ❤️❤️❤️
The feels that you get from this book are intense and everywhere. One minute you are  swooning the the next you are so so angry. There is so much mystery and character development. I really loved their story. Siobhan Davis has done it again!!!

Enjoyed this one! I was definitely invested from the beginning! I loved the characters and the overall plot. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect end to the series

This book was the perfect end to the series. It is a well written, action packed, slow burn, low angst, danger and drama filled story. While technically a standalone, I highly recommend reading the first 2 books for a better understanding of the characters & the world they live in.

Siobhan Davis pens another amazing novel set in her Mazzone Mafia world, the third and final book of the series. I have been loving this series, the mafia world she created and world building is phenomenal. The characters are easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. This book is Serena and Alessandro’s story, Serena’s father forced her into an arranged marriage with one of his mafia cronies, Alfredo, an evil man twice her age who made her life a living nightmare. Both her father and her husband are gone, and she moved with her sister, Sierra and her husband Bennett to Greenwich, CT. Bennett is President of “The Commission” overseeing the Mafia Crime families, and it is not all settled in the crime world. Alesso has always had a thing die Serena and the feelings are mutual but she is not ready for any type of relationship or even intimacy, her ex brutalized her and she suffers from PTSD. But Alesso is a patient man, a loving man, and he gives her the space she needs to heal and even grow into her own person again. He was not only great with Serena, but with her children as well. Alesso has proven himself to become one of Bennett’s most trusted employees, and Bennett has plans for him. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, a touch of mystery, thrilling suspense, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful slow burn romance. Siobhan Davis, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Sarah Puckett and Tyler Darby are superbly talented narrators and versatile voice artist. They have a complete understanding of the characters there are portraying, give each a voice that fits the character’s persona perfectly, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Puckett nailed it as Serena, grasping her strength and her tormented side, Darby played Alesso perfectly too. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all their character’s emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Predictable. Cliche. Annoying.

With the other 2 books in this series, I don't remember having to ignore so many inconsistencies and so many red flags (for me, it's a 3-5 strike system, depending on my mood).

Whiny bratty FMC? Flag. Insta-lust: Flag 2. Unrealistic and ridiculous dialogue that humans in real life would never utter? Flag 3. Sappy cliche back story (Flag 4) with 1 dimensional supporting characters? 5 strikes I'm out. This author is dramatic and I'll accept a certain level of unrealistic, if it is done stylistically- but this is NOT that. Boo.

Horrible

The first book off this series was ok. The Spence book was the best one out of any of I’m. This one I couldn’t finish. It was so bad LOL. The sec scenes, I understand she had previous trauma but he asks questions the entire time I felt like it was a gynecological visit or something. So bad

Brilliant story

Another great story I just love this series, I love how each of the strong men find the love of their lives. Can’t wait for the next book.

Siobhan has a way of weaving an amazing adventure. This third book in the Mazzone Mafiosi is well worth the wait!

Alesso has watched Selena from afar for a really long time. His heart feels she’s throne. Only she is married to Alfredo. And what a piece of ick he is😳

What Selena endured being married to that monster amazed she didn’t end up off herself. She was so strong for her children and stayed in the forced marriage to him until he finally gets taken out and good riddance. But all is not hunky dory for her, there are dissenters who want her dead.
Selena is sisters to Sierra and who just happens to be protected by no other than Alesso(Alessandro) the one and only one who rocked Selena’s with just one stolen kiss a wile back.

Alesso is strong willed and will wait for her because he knows she’s the one. Only he doesn’t feel worthy of her. This long before we find out his true parentage which changes a lot.

There are a lot of twists and turns in this book and I loved the pace and where everyone ends up in this one.

Sarah Puckett will remain a favourite of mine. She takes a character and immerses herself into them. Tyler was new to me and he really brings out Alesso’s emotions w feelings as years go by before he feels worthy of Selena’s love. Tons of mafia action here to keep everyone wanting more. Siobhan keeps us entertained again!

Amazing dual narration by Sarah Puckett and Tyler Darby

Serena is overcoming her past and learning to move on with her children, she is healing, Becoming strong and a force to be reckoned with. Alesso has become an even more powerful alpha made man. He has become more gentle and calm as a result his relationship with Serena and her children shined. Alesso also become more fiercely protective of them all and those he considered family .

Amazing

Mafia Perfection

Serena's story has always intrigued me, through the first 2 books I was so sad for her, things seemed so morose for her. It seemed she was doomed to a life of pain. Alas her book is here and things are much more than they seem.

Alessandro and Serena are instantly attracted to each other, but life doesn't work out for them and things aren't as simple as feelings.

They both have such strong feelings for each other but there are quite a few obstacles between them and an HEA..

The drama with this mafia is so good, the suspense is spot on and the intensity of the characters and their feelings is everything. I love getting to see the other couples from the previous books and seeing their lives and love grow. I am really curious to see if there will be a spin off series with the way things ended it leads me to question about the kids' lives and their stories.

Sarah Puckett and Tyler Darby really brought the emotions with this one. I loved the fact that Tyler had so many different voices for different men, it was truly amazing because it made it so much more real. I loved it.

Brilliant series

This is Serena and Alesso's slow-burn story, of a bodyguard and a mafia widow. A triggering story for some so proceeds with a warning. Their story started way back, but after the recent events, they started to get closer and admit their feelings. It's not a conventional start to a romance story, so many things happening that will have you devouring the book. The world-building is fantastic, I really like dark romance and this one was perfect for me. Definitely worth reading if you like dark mafia slow burns. The narration by Sarah Puckett and Tyler Darby was on point, I really love how these two work and the way they did their characters.

Great series

This was a great series to listen too. Serena went from being meek and scared to be a force by the end of this book she was a victim no more which I loved. Alesso was true and loyal to Serena from the beginning and his lover for her kids was swoon worthy. The epilogues looks like it’s setting up for the future which I would,love to see especially the twins and Serena’s daughter. Loved the narration and you can never go wrong with a Siobhan Davis series.

This book was so much of everything. I cried, I laughed and I loved this story. I stayed up all night listening because I knew this story would break me. The author’s words weaved a bewitching world that refuses to let the reader forget this story. The narrators were amazing and really gave the characters an additional depth that added to the story and overall experience.
