Publisher's Summary

Find your mate and choose your fate.

A lonely, bullied Fae, Tyler is on the verge of death when an unexpected portal opens up and ushers him into the human realm. He awakens to a beautiful wolf shifter who seems to be the source of a new...heart song. Could this strange heart song indicate his true mate?

No magic or tricks, nor cheat or spell...conceal you’re Fae and hide it well.

Blake is a museum curator who’s a little too curious for his own good. When he stumbles upon something he was never meant to see, everything changes.

The powers that be can’t send Tyler back to certain death in his own world with his Fae bullies, so they send Tyler home with Blake for one lunar cycle before the pair is forced to make a hard choice. In the meantime, there's only one rule. They're forbidden to reveal Tyler's true identity as Fae. In exchange for keeping the secret, Tyler is given the opportunity to choose a spirit animal.

And that's where the fun begins.

This is the second book in the Choose Your Fate series. This 44k mpreg novel contains a lot of magic, fluffy feels, and more than one familiar face. This book can be enjoyed on its own, but is best listened to as part of the series. Settle in and get ready to laugh and catch a case of feels from Susi Hawke.

Another Great Read

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. I have not found a book/audio that I haven't loved by Susi, she is an amazing author. Hands down John Solo is my favorite narrator. This story brings Blake from the Northern Lodge Pack series and Tyler a Fae from the Wartroot Grove Clan, who is bullied by the other Faes. He's finally found the loving family he deserves.

So amazing!

I love the series before this with fsted mates, world travel and special magic. This series, takes that to the next level by keeping all the original legacy pack members and making them the adults. And a sloth shifter? might be my favorite kind so far.

Lovely!

Thoroughly enjoyed this sweet shifter story from Susi Hawke! I had not previously read this one in ebook format so I went into it blind. It was quite enjoyable and the main characters were lovely. John Solo did a super nice job with this one!

Much Better than the Previous Book

Tyler, a bullied fae gets pulled into the human world and finds himself meeting his heartsong, his one true mate Blake, a wolf shifter, museum curator, and grandson of Kai and Jake (the original couple in the Northern Lodge Pack). And when Blake finds his fated mate, they also receive an ancient artifact that they have to work together to figure out while getting to know each other. So for the next 30 days, Tyler gets to spend his days shifting between "human" and his chosen animal form (a SLOTH) while they work on the artifact.
I liked this book so much more than the previous book in the series. I didn't feel that the mates/heartsongs were tricking the other as they were in the previous. Also, as an added bonus, you get to revisit the Northern Lodge Pack and some of your favorite characters from the previous stories. Tyler and Blake were so much fun together, and a perfect couple. There are plenty of times you will find yourself laughing out loud during this book.
John Solo did an amazing job with the narration. Each character was unique enough that it was easy to follow along.
Overall, good listen!

So Cute!

Blake and Tyler's story is such a cute story and I just love it so much. I just love what Tyler chose what he shifted into. I just couldn't stop loving this story so much. So sweet and cute. I love all the feeling that book made me feel. Then John Solo doesn't an amazing job bring this story to life. Just all the amazing feeling that I feeling just become more. He makes me love listening to the stories so much.

Sweet second book in the series

This can absolutely be listened to as a standalone, but I highly recommend listening to the first book first.

in this story, there is a bit of a snafu. A pack of the special shifters that were introduced in a previous series, bring Tyler into the human realm just in time to save his life from his torment I'm the land of the Fae.

Blake is a shifter who has been invited to stay with Aaron and his mate. However, he lets his curiosity carry him away, and he is present when Tyler is brought through the portal. They both immediately hear their heartsong, which messes up the traditional challenge that would have been set before Tyler.

There is a twist in the story, because Blake runs a museum, and the special pack provided Tyler with an ancient artifact that Tyler is able to shed some light light on the history. Now, Tyler and Blake must decide on the best course of action to be taken regarding the piece of history.

The decision made by Tyler the Fae, although not surprising, is very different from the decision in book one. And of course, our MCs get their HEA in the end.

John Solo, as usual, did a great job with the narration.

Not everyone fits a stereotype

Unlike many of the stories within this series and prior series, this story doesn't really need to be read/listened to in order. There is a brief mention that this is the groups' second opportunity but the characters aren't really entwined with the first book.

In this book, we get to meet an unseelie fae and he breaks the stereotype of his people. Blake (family to the wolves in the Northern Pines Lodge) sees Tyler for the true kind-hearted man he is.

Be warned about adorable sloth shifting.

Another great performance by John Solo.

A sassy wolf and an adorable sloth shifter!

I adored this book, it gave me all the fluffy feelings!
I loved how Tyler is bigger than Blake in his usual form, and as the alpha he takes care of Blake; but then when they shift, Blake being a wolf and Tyler an adorable, grinning, cuddly sloth, it's Blake who's bigger and protects Tyler.
I loved the side-characters, too, especially Grandpapa Kai, and the story is so cute that it left me smilink like a loon.
John Solo's narration was autstanding and added an extra layer of greatness to the book!

Sweet story

Very enjoyable sweet story! I loved Tyler. He was the white sheep in an evil fae family, and his good deeds caused his brothers to try to kill him and drain his magic. The choice of his shifter animal was so sweet and unexpected. It made me laugh just imagining it. This is a wonderful, low angst story. There is a little violence and drama in the beginning, but it is minimal and quickly dealt with.

The narration was very good, appropriate to the character emotions, and well-paced.

Sweet addition to the series!

Saving Choice was very different from book 1 in the series. In this one, rather than one of the MCs having to win their fated mate's love in thirty days without resorting to any magic or trickery, due to Blake's inherent curiosity, Tyler and Blake find themselves having to hide Tyler's Fae nature from Blake's family and having to wait 30 days to see if they'd be allowed to remain together, despite being fated mates. Add to that, the fact that Tyler needs to choose a spirit animal and his surprising decision and lots of fun situations ensue, mostly because of Blake's family (immediate and extended) meddling.

This was a very sweet, hot, low angst story. Actually, whatever angst there was, was more of my own making, as I was expecting something to go wrong and when it did, it wasn't what I was expecting.

John Solo did a fantastic job, especially with all the voices he needed to keep straight! His voice is so pleasant and it made for a very enjoyable experience!

Wonderful Second Episode, John Solo is Perfect!

Second in Susi Hawke’s Choose Your Fate series, Saving Choice is the story of Blake and Tyler. Opening with a dramatic scene of Tyler being chased down by his family and tales of his ongoing abuse by them, it’s a near miss when he gets through the Legacy Warriors’ portal.

Stealthy and curious, Blake follows the Warriors and witnesses Tyler’s appearance. When the two recognize their fated heartsong it throws a real wrench into the Warriors’ plans! Only in Scotland to retrieve an artifact for his museum, they send the pair back to America and give them one month to see what happens.

As was the first book in this series, I found Saving Choice sweet and sensual and an all around good time. Susi Hawke spins a very compelling insta-love scenario, and when you add in the fun of Tyler’s spirit animal choice it’s extra adorable.

Narrated by John Solo, he does a marvelous job with the voices. There are a large number of characters in this story and he’s got a different voice for each of them. I always enjoy his creative female voices, and his charm and sense of humor flow through this one.

Both men have interesting back stories and the details Ms. Hawke includes on the fae/brownie/mystical elements are fascinating and quite clever. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

Such a sweet story :)

Another hit story!
Blake is a museum curator who comes from a large, close-knit mixed pack - he's a wolf shifter. Tyler has escaped from the fae realm, with his kin hot on his heels trying to kill him. From the moment the men meet, they know they're mates; all they have to do is get through to the next moon to seal their 'fate' :)
An added bonus is Tyler's animal - it's so cute the way the animal rides Blake's wolf, (not that kind of riding!) :)

John Solo is really good as a voice actor and a good addition to the series. He does sassy, compassionate, heat so well. It is so easy to know which character has the floor when he narrates.

A Fae Prince blesses a wolf and a sloth?

I've been enjoying this latest instalment in the Legacy Saga - Choose Your Fate series. John Solo does an excellent job as always in bringing the characters to lifer.
This meeting of Tyler the Unseelie and Blake, a grandson of the Northern Lodge wolves was quite dramatic as the Fae was critically wounded when he falls through the portal into the mortal realm. Their heart song sings to them both from the moment they meet. It's quite an interesting tale as things evolve from there...recommended to all fans of Susi and Shifter Paranormal MM romance.

Blake and Tyler...

A fae and a shifter... They are from different worlds. They can't stand a chance or can they? There was a technical error and Tyler heard the song, that one that tells him Blake is his soulmate. I like this series. Although they put the couple to the test, they always pass. I loved how Tyler enjoyed the family ambience he alaways missed. It's totally endearing.

Sweet Sloths! Such a lovely story!

I love Susi’s work and this is no exception! A different fated mates tale, across realms and against the odds. Tyler is brought into the ‘human’ world just in the nick of time, as he was being hunted by in brothers. Once in the human world, he meets his heartsong Blake.

Blake and Tyler are so sweet together and I love the ‘education’ Tyler goes through to understand the human world. I think one of my favorite parts has to be that Tyler chooses a sloth as his shifter animal. I love sloths and loved his form and characteristics as a sloth and how they interacted together with Blakes wolf.

A great sweet and fluffy read/listen that will give you all the feels and just enough magic heat to keep you going. Love Susi’s work and that we got to visit with some favorites from the Northern Lodge Pack and Northern Pines Den too.

Thanks for reading!

An absolutely enjoyable audio

I enjoyed this book. Getting to see some of my favorite characters from Hawke’s other series was absolutely the best. I found the story to be endearing and full of love. Bacca’s narration brought these wonderfully written characters to life. Well worth a listen to.
