Joey breaks my heart - Another 6 star read

Joey officially owns a piece of my heart. He already did from Binding 13 and Keeping 13, but reading his book put me through the ringer. I love him, and my heart breaks for him throughout this book. The amount of pressure on this young man's shoulders to provide for his family and deal with his father's abuse is astounding. Reading his POV put me through a roller coaster of emotions, and it was so hard to see his struggles with addiction.

Aoife was such a feisty, strong, and loyal heroine. She loves Joey with everything she has, and you see how she also has to struggle with his problems with addiction. God, this book killed me, and I have a feeling the next one will be even more emotional.

I listened to this on audiobook and cried my eyes out multiple times. No author has made me cry more than Chloe Walsh. She is a master story teller who is able to make you feel deeply connected to each of her characters. The narrators Matthew Forsythe and Jacqueline Mine bring so much heart to this audiobook. I could feel Joey's devastation.

Saving 6

Oh my….. Joey and Aoife are already breaking my heart and there is still another book for them. Their banter is absolutely amazing, and I can’t get enough of it. The little bit of sympathy I had for Marie Lynch is completely gone now knowing Joey’s POV, and we haven’t even gotten to Shannon starting at Tommen yet. These characters have grabbed ahold of my heart, and I dread the moment I get to the end of the books that are out and have to wait for who knows how long for the next ones.

Great audio

I loved the audio with the two different characters. Made me feel like they were actually the ones telling the story.

Chloe Walsh is hands down my favorite author and this series is my #1

This whole series is beautifully written. its a sad reality of someone's everyday life. it hits home for me. its a masterpiece

Aoife is one strong girl

Loved how Chloe wrote the struggle of loving someone who is a addict. Listing to the book and the way the voices break just adds to what the characters are going through. Great listen narrators did a amazing job.
The hardship that Joey went through makes you understand why he found his escape. If it wasn't for Aoife Joey would have be long gone she gave him hope, safe place,love. To think you can love a addict without it breaking you in some way is unrealistic. It broke Aoife to the point that Joey knew he had to try harder to get better for himself and her.

Great continuation of the story.

I love the Tommen Boys series and listening to Joeys side of the story. Can’t wait for Redeeming 6 and Taming 7!

WOW!! Amazing!!

This story broke my heart into million pieces and then put it back to then break it again. Love like this is hard to find and toxic but it’s so earth shattering that you have to hold onto all the good parts because you know the bad parts can destroy you. I love everything about this book and more!!

Great book but confused by the Joey voice actor

Amazing book and audiobook but at certain points it felt like the male narrator switched. I don’t know if it was the editing or a completely different voice actor.

I love joey lynch so much and it was riveting and disheartening to get His pov.
I loved watching him grow and fall in love and hated seeing everything he went through.
He is so strong.
I just wanna give him a big hug and tell him that it's is okay, He csn take a breath now.

Heart wrenching

Heart wrenching but unable to walk away from it, Joey and Aoife go thru so much,but you keep cheering them on.
