Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

Good CR but something bothered me

ok so the book started with a really graphic heart breaking scene and set up for an exciting thriller with a fabulous heroic rescue. I was all in but then it was revealed that an even more horrific tragedy happened during the initial incident that should have impacted the heroine even more than it did.
The focus quickly shifted back to her, her healing and the blossoming romance but not on the second tragic loss.
It really bothered me that such a plot point was left to the side and not brought up again.
