I really enjoy how K.A. Tucker writes her characters, keeps me interested throughout the story with a well written plot, and the seductively hot moments.
Ronan is my favorite!

That said, Release Me always felt like half a story, so Save Me is the payoff I was waiting for. Finally, it is here. Ronin has always been thoughtful, funny, and yes, very hot, but this book gives us more depth. We explore his imposter syndrome, his past attachments, and his ability to finally let go of Abbi for good.
I also appreciated seeing Henry through a different lens this time. Without all the heart eyes, his arrogance and streak of dirty politics show a side that rounds out his character in interesting ways. It is messy, human, and honest.
Ronin’s growth across both books has been superb. He has evolved from the steady background favorite to a fully realized leading man with heart and heat in equal measure. I know this universe may be drawing to a close, though I am still crossing my fingers for a Merrick series, but I hope we continue to see Ronin appear in future stories. He is the kind of character who lingers long after the final page.
Rounding out Ronin
