Mammon doesn't know what hit him when he meets Charmeine but fireworks explode. So far he is my favorite dire. He knows what he needs to do to earn Charmeine's trust and goes above and beyond.

Wonderful narration
Wonderful narration which makes listening a pleasure. Great inflection with the voices and a good pace. Charmaine comes across more stubborn and cold in audible. BOOK REVIEW 4.5 stars. OMGoodness, what a great read. Just loved it. Talk about Lady and the Tramp. We have Charmaine, a well-bred lady who hides behind the persona of an Ice Princess. In reality she is gritty, sensitive, caring. untrusting and loyal to those she loves, who are few. She is practically a sister to Finn O’Rourke. Mammon is a Dire Wolf through and through, never deviates from what he sees as right but also not a follower of rules if they should be bent. He believes in honesty and justice. He has had a grudge against the O’Rourke’s for two years. To find his mate is Charmaine was one hell of a shock and he thought he could deny the fates, silly wolf. What follows is a well written very enjoyable tale in which we see most of the Dire Wolves involved to bring down those dreaded Apex Hunters who everyone was told had been destroyed. Yeh right, evil will always survive, it just needs the Dire Wolves to keep it in check. Loved the background in this story, it is really bringing this world together. Can’t wait for more of these Dire Wolves. Hope Phego gets his story soon. Oh who am I kidding, I want all off their stories. This can be read as a standalone but you will want to go back and read the others. This is my honest review of this book.
