Male narrator doing a female voice just didn’t sell this for me sorry.

Mmmmm I’m not 100% on this one.
The male narrator does all parts and I just can’t get my head around the fmc in more ways than one.
I can’t picture a bombshell female when the narrators voice is so low and doesn’t really change between male and female voices.

I don’t understand how someone can want to be part/more involved of a crime family but doesn’t like violence. You either want to stay away from it. Be ok in the shadows or find a backbone so you can get involved.

Fmc is too naive and fragile for me and my tastes therefore I couldn’t enjoy this book 🤷🏼‍♀️ sorry! 2.5 stars. Just not for me.

Excellent Beginning to the Series

Action packed from beginning to end! Interesting and enthralling story, listened to the whole book in one day. The narrator is a favorite of mine and did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Good Read

I Received ARC for the audiobook in return for honest review
This is a mafia romance which the writer and the narrator did a very good job. The ending of this story is the beginning of the next installment which felt unsatisfying and unfinished .To get all the answers we need to continue the series.

Entertaining!

Savage is a wonderfully written steamy mafia romance and a fantastic start to the Darkest Night Series. The premise is engaging, and the storyline is fast-paced, suspenseful, action-packed, exciting with explosive passion, and has loads of steam. Mia and Gabe are great characters, and their story completely captured my attention. The connection and chemistry between them are explosive and electrifying.

Excellent narration Christopher Solon, portraying the characters and their connection very nicely. Overall, Savage was an enjoyable and entertaining listen, and I'm definitely looking forward to the second book in the series.

Great book

It will keep you interested. Good read. I read to go to sleep but I was so interested I could not fall asleep.

Good Story, Good Narration

This was a good, but not great story. The Female character seemed to just be helpless with everything. If you like that kind of lead, then this is definitely for you. She needed a man to do everything for her. The narrator was quite good at the male parts, but I would prefer a female narrator for the female lines. The voice distracted me from the story. Overall, I give it 4 stars.

Enjoyable Story and good narration!

I enjoyed this one! Christopher Solon has a great range in order to do both POV's without it sounding overly cheesy. I didn't connect all that well with the FMC, but she grew on me as the story progressed. I enjoyed the story and the direction it took. As I got to the final 30 minutes I got the feeling it would be a cliffy as there was so much to resolve still. Looking forward to more in the series!

multiple book story

I was given this book from the narrator for an honest review. The story is a good one I just didn't know it was a multi book story. The narrator did a great job. He was able to do both parts and give enough inflection to know which one it was. I would recommend it to anyone.

good story and narration

I have read/listened to both the author and the narrator before. I enjoy the narrator he does do a good job. there is one part in this book that the editing was cut wrong a phrase repeats itself that's just as an FYI doesn't hinder your listening experiences.

the story was good, I enjoyed how it really progressed at the end, I'm excited to see where this story is taken.
