Fits very well into the storyline of the series. A good quick fix if you’re not ready to leave your favorite characters. Solid.

Good companion story

I really enjoyed this short story. It filled in a lot of information about the characters, and I enjoyed their interactions and them learning to trust each other more and falling into their roles. For an hour and a half story, it was also packed with a lot of morality type of issues, which was also interesting. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

A really great short story that's part of our fabulous series

I put up with Kate reading through many Brandon Sanderson novels and I've gotten to where I just really can't stand to listen to her anymore, she mis-characterizes all of her female voices. every female character regardless of age or race or other trait is portrayed as a little girl by Kate Reading. or a silly teenager at best. Even older women such as a starship captain is treated with a staccato little girl voice. I just feel like I've been patient through thousands of pages of Brandon Sanderson and others and I just can't put up with her anymore. I know that is a subjective opinion but I feel that I've been fair. The only way I was able to get through the Sanderson novels was because Michael Kramer does more of the reading. I like the story, though. I am patient and tolerant, but sort of grit my teeth while listening and wish a better narrator had been hired. or at least someone had told her to stop presenting every female as a silly little girl. for crying out loud!

Kate Reading difficult to listen to
