Leanne Yau
Sappho was a female poet who was well known in ancient Greece and Rome for her lyrical poetry. She was most famous for her poems involving women who loved women, and it is from her name that sapphic, a term referring to sexual relations between women, originated. This is a compendium of her surviving work, a collection of 54 fragments translated by Henry de Vere Stacpoole.

pretty good

It is from ancient Greece and Rome time-frame in history so the phrasing is of that era, which tends to grate on my senses after a time.
The narrator was good. There were good expressions and emphasis of sounds and words. I had a poetry section in my theatre class and it is a lot harder than you might think. You have little amounts of words to create something spectacular.
This book is essentially all poetry.
