Storyline

I absolutely loved this storyline. It is definitely a twist of a renown story. The performance of storytellers was awesome.

Jane Eyre meets witchcraft and it’s awesome!

Jane Eyre is one of my favorite classics and this book was everything that I hoped first in a retelling!

A Romance Wrapped in a Gothic Mystery

This was a beautiful story based on, and featuring some of the characters of, “Jane Eyre.”

There is a mystery at Thornwood surrounding the wife of the enigmatic Mr Rochester but it’s not at all what you might expect. Young Jane Eyre, a witch, has been hired from Lowood School to find out why a shadow hangs over Thornwood Estate causing mayhem and terror. What she eventually learns is highly shocking.

The dual narration is really well done and brings this delightful derivation to life.

Mystery of the Shadow

I loved this book, the second book I've read by this author and hope to read more. Mysterious, supernatural, romantic and historical. I Highly recommend.

The setting, woods and gardens

Good story with twists. I enjoyed it very much.

Sweet cozy story

Cozy story with mystery and magic. Perfect winter/ fall read. Loved the characters and descriptions of the grounds.

Could not put it down!

This story had every everything, I was sad when it ended! I hope they make this book into a movie! The narrators were superb!

A nice cozy read

What a cute little love story. A potion here a spell there. And the narration was wonderful and expressive reading!

Total reimagining of the original, mostly keeping only names and places. Great story- super entertaining! Lovely narration as well. Definitely worth a listen!!

A great idea of a good and helpful witch. Completely reimagining the witch stereotype. Very much enjoyed.
