Great Romance for a Summer Listen
What an intriguing story that certainly kept my interest with all of the twists and turns. A well-written romance that was perfect for a summer listen. The reader was very, very good. I will definitely read more books by Lucinda Brant and hope to start listening to the sequel, Salt Redux, very soon. Need to find out what happens to the Earl and his family. I also want to search out more books read b Marian Hussey.

Excellent !
Loved the story It kept my interest and the narrator did the story justice. I am going to read the sequel next. Not my usual style to read the sequel right after the first book;but I want to hear more. It has peaked my interest, so I MUST continue reading. Highly recommended this book and its author.

Great audio, great book!

Having read the book, I just had to hear the audio and it was amazing as the book. The narrator spoke clearly and put much of herself as she read the story keeping you captivated. Lucinda is one of my top favorite authors and all her stories are a must to read and listen too.

Stunning! Remarkable! Unforgettable!
Hats off to Lucinda Brant! This has to be one the best written romance stories of all time. I enjoyed every minute of this book. The narration by Marian Hussey is a stellar performance. It’s a MUST listen. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

Wonderful
Would you listen to Salt Bride: A Georgian Historical Romance again? Why?
You won't be disappointed if you get this book. Of course, you will also want to try the sequel as well. Narrator and author are a great pairing!

She did a wonderful job,, I hope when Ms brant next audible book come out she has Marian Hussey narrate them..,,

It didn't make me laugh or cry it just keep interested.. It was very well written and good story all the way to the end...

A must listen!
Would you consider the audio edition of Salt Bride: A Georgian Historical Romance to be better than the print version?
I haven't read this book
What was one of the most memorable moments of Salt Bride: A Georgian Historical Romance?
I couldn't pick just one. The story is one that is constantly moving.

This was my first experience of this Author.
I just couldn't stop listening......then I was disappointed when it was over.
Lucinda Brant is an author who has made a very considered selection of narrator when choosing Marian Hussey........a faultless reading with great characterization

Great Story, Fantastic Narration!
This was a really good story, I enjoyed it very much. The hero and heroine had some great chemistry together. I really liked both characters very much. Jane was a great heroine. Salt was fantastic. There wasn't really any sex scenes in the story it was more referred to in the past tense but the sexual tension is there and the relationship between the two felt genuine and real.
The story line and plot was great. There was a bat $h*t crazy villainous lady Diana St. John. Literally this woman is nuts LOL it made the story even better. There was secrets and a few of surprises. There is lots and lots of dialogue throughout the entire book. Some very good dialogue too. This story is not full of filler nonsense either which is a plus for a 12 hour book.
As for the narration, well its Marian Hussey one of my very favorite narrators. She does a fantastic job on the men's voices and gives everyone their own distinct voice and has an excellent reading voice. She reads with emotion as called for too. Love listening to her narrations. She makes a story even better!
I actually got this book free back in November 2015 from amazon and 1.99 for the audible whispersync version so it was a super deal for sure!

This is why I like historical romances
Lucinda Brant has a winner with this book. I've enjoyed her other books; this is another good one. Great writing; great characters.
Excellent narration enhances the story.
