I would love to see this as a movie! So many great new characters! I felt like I got to know Jack and Sally better than before and that was a Christmas gift!

Fun and nostalgic

if you like Nightmare Before Christmas you'll like this story, seeing some of the musical moments from the movie as an outside observer was very funny.

Great book

This was so good. I loved the story and I loved seeing Jack and Sally’s relationship develop! Definitely rereading it and would recommend to any nightmare before Christmas fans.

Great retelling!

I LOVED THE MOVIE AS A KID! And this story didn’t disappoint. It’s written much like the movie and felt like a seamless transition from my loved memories of the classic “Nightmare Before Christmas”. The narrator was brilliant and read the different character parts with great relation to the original character voices. It was a great listen!

Now someone animate this!

Like the What If series in the Marvel Universe, this book takes a great concept and explores how things would be different in an already popular and well told story if only a couple of things had changed. This book shines the spooky spotlight on Sally, but Jack is right there with her, living an adventure! The narrator of the audio book gave this her own style, but captured the essences of the voice actors who first brought these characters to life. The story is deeply moving but also fun and funny and thrilling. Great for kids of all ages! Highly recommend.

I really loved this book.

I really loved this book, it was a good twist on if Sally had found Christmas town instead. I was presently surprised. I would definitely read this book again, no question.

This was a great story from Sally's point of view and the romance between her and Jack is not like anything we have seen before. I loved it!

I loved the story, the story telling, and the fun of the characters. The lesson to be learned was fabulous! Can we get our leaders to act as rationally as Santa?
