Amazing storyline and voice acting!

Absolutely loved how much devotion was put into promoting awareness on Korean history through this riveting story! I feel all the characters felt very realistic with their flaws and limitations, while still incorporating female voices, wishes and grievances without it standing out as too out of the ordinary for people of that time to think. I also really enjoyed the voice acting to the point I forgot that this was an audiobook, rather than a movie or TV show. So many moving parts that helped bring this audiobook to life, and I’m grateful for everybody’s efforts into this story! Will definitely look more into the author’s other works and the voice actors’ works, as well!

Captivating!

I loved this story so much! Super engaging and hard to put down. Our heroine will stop at nothing to free her sister from the evil king’s harem.

Awesome sauce

I really enjoyed this book! Overall I found it to be wonderfully written and I really enjoyed the historical aspect. The romance was such a slow burn, but so romantic! I love a satisfying ending:)

Slow burn historical romance

A gorgeous, vivid look into Korean dynasty.
This was a great example of a slow burn romance- not smut, but a low heat building the entire book.

Interesting take on little known history

Manages not to be too dark and also hopeful with the dark subject matter so therefore a good way to learn about this history. Main characters were particularly interesting.
