Publisher's summary

At Angelview Academy, Saint Angelle is considered god. But don't be fooled by his ridiculous name or that pretty face because Saint? He’s as wicked as they come.

I should know. I'm the new girl who pissed him off. The nobody who called out his crew of vicious tyrants. The mortal who wouldn't bow then and sure as hell won’t now.

Saint swears I'll regret it. He vows to own every inch of me. He even promises to make my senior year a living hell. I don't believe him, though. Because, if angels can fall, so can so-called gods. And I want to be the one to bring Saint Angelle to his knees.

Saint is a full-length new adult/ mature high school romance with enemies-to-lovers and bullying themes. It's not recommended for listeners under 17 as it contains dubious situations and triggers that some may find offensive. It is not a stand-alone and ends in a cliff-hanger.

An excellent beginning, I'm excited for more!

Saint is the quintessential high school bully romance with a twist; there's dark intrigue, a plot that makes you want to yell at the main character to just spill the beans already, and, of course, a man with a dark nature that is slowly warming up to our female protagonist. Saint is a blondie with blue eyes, and I laughed hard when Mallory called him "Hot Draco". I enjoy having an actual person to think of when I consider the characters in a story since it allows me to have a mental image of what they look like, but that one took the cake! Anyway, Saint is brooding, intense, and darkly delicious. He and Mallory are drawn together, despite both of them fight the connection at first. I have to say that I am SO glad that the author didn't fall into the normal pitfall of these kinds of enemies-to-lovers romances where the female protag gets caught up in her own head and her introspection adds hours to the length of the book as she contemplates why her body reacts one way and her mind another. If it were so abnormal, hate sex wouldn't be a thing, right?

Mallory is young woman on the cusp of adulthood just trying to get her life together and it seems that the universe is doing absolutely everything in its' power to stop her from doing just that. She harbors a deep-seated guilt when it comes to her past, and she just wants to move on but it just continues to catch up with her. Not only that, but her hot tormentor begins to develop feelings for her along the way as well. There are just enough of the steamy scenes that it didn't detract from the plot at all (another pitfall I've come to see often lately) and the character development of both Saint and Mallory is intriguing to say the least. I'm really glad that I waited to start the series until the last book was out, since I wholeheartedly plan on devouring these novels with ruthless precision until I get to the conclusion. The cliffhanger we're left with at the end of the book had me ready to buy and start the second book immediately and that's what I'm going to do, right... about.... now! I recommend it, no doubt about it. 10/10 angels ;)
Happy listening!

Holy hell this book is amazing. I read and listened to the audiobook of it and just couldn't stop. It's intense, addictive and sometimes you will find yourself laughing out loud. The narrator does a really good job as well

Interesting if you can cope with epic unfairness

The style here is okay. I mean it’s nonstop bullying and drama set in a boarding school. Hogwarts School of Elitist Assholery. The apple hurling at the start was a nice touch, although it was a little misleading because the mfc (Mallory) isn’t actually that strong. She does mete out her own justice a couple of times during the book but she never gets any respect. This story is just a series of cruelties against her, not just from the student body but also from the 'hero'. The plot doesn't move until the VERY END and then bam... cliffhanger.

Two beefs with this book:

First, you always know the quality of the romance you're about to read based on the couple's first contact. After Mallory's small rebellion with the apple, Saint manhandles and insults her. And in response her body yearns for him. Rinse, repeat. It's gross. The guy still hates her even after screwing her. What are we supposed to do with that? With toxicity but no intimacy or softness?

Second, WHERE ARE THE TEACHERS?? AUTHORITY FIGURES?? EVEN A CUSTODIAN WOULD DO… any one?? please?? This book is about teenagers who govern themselves and are above any kind of repercussions (unless they’re poor). I found that to be totally unrealistic and honestly, an uncomfortable literary choice. The author is obviously trying to paint the 1% as Teflon, but these are still kids. There was NO ONE mature to guide, comfort or reassure them (it’s not always about punishment). The underprivileged students didn't get any special assistance or kindness. In Mallory's inner monologue she imagines herself an adult facing adult consequences. Trauma does not make a child an adult. It makes them a traumatized child. I‘m trying to imagine the kind of parent that would PAY for this environment - a bunch of dirtbags. And yep, it tracks, since the 4 main characters - Saint, Mallory, Liam and Loni - are the spawn of abusive, drug addicted, absent and career obsessed breeders.

RETURING THIS BOOK AFTER CHAPTER 11.

I CANNOT STAND the typical mean girls in the HS Bully romance trope. I TOLERATE them as background noise. Thus far, THIS mean girl took up more air time than SAINT! WTF after skipping 3 chapters and she WAS STILL THE MAIN CHARACTER i gave up. I didnt sign up for this. Buyers Beware if youre into bully romance, there are WAY better books to spend your credit on.

It's pretty good!

I actually do like the narration here, it's just that the voice for the men is not very good. It isn't about this narrator, it's just that ideally all books like this would have 2 narrators each voicing their own parts (not chapter by chapter but their own parts and voices similar to them). Storywise, it's pretty good! Cliffhanger has me buying the next book in the series. The plot is interesting and the characters draw me in. This isn't suddenly a favorite series or anything, but it's enjoyable.

4 1/2 STARS ⭐️

I love bully books! I gobble them up like candy. This one is by a new to me author and I was pleasantly surprised! There is a lot of wtf moments and a lot of wanting to punch the H moments as well. The steamy scenes are smoking hot so be ready! This of course ends in a cliffhanger and I hope the h makes the H GROVEL in the next book.

Narration was 5++++ ⭐️ Addison is great at narrating high school books.

Loved it!

This book was amazing! There’s chemistry between the main characters was electrifying to read about. The female character is strong and resilient everything you want and don’t even get me started on Saint. He was different from other male characters in other bully romances I have read in a awesome way.

Loved Saint 😍 😍

This was a new author and will continue to read their stories. Took me a while to read as it is very though and complex but worth it. Both the main characters have past issues that cause problems and betrayal but they learn they need each other. This is only 1 part of 3 have the others to complete so many unanswered questions.
