Publisher's summary

In the last few months, Max has bonded with a fire elemental, learned to shift, and freed hundreds of captives from a prison. Now, most want to follow him to his lands, and he realizes it's not big enough to accommodate.

While trying to figure out solutions for that problem and others, Sigmus advises him to focus on locating other elementals to bond with. Agreeing with the fire elemental, he journeys to other kingdoms and is shocked at what he finds.

This book has harem elements/unconventional relationships, sexual content and cursing. It is intended for mature listeners.

Funniest thing I've ever listened to

I mean, let's be real here if you've gotten to this book, your standards are already low. You've experienced unadulterated cringe and wish fulfilment on a level rarely witnessed and decided to go for more. Well, buckle up because in book 2 Max goes Super Saiyan and this time he isn't just perfect, he is the greatest at everything ever. He is a genius with unparalleled intelligence. How do I know that? Well, I was told so repeatedly! Have I seen any evidence he is intelligent? Nope! He has solved literally every problem in the story with violence or threat of violence. His charm is to such a degree as to be mind control. Why does everyone like him? Well, because he is unique in that he doesn't care about anything but laying pipe, posturing, and murdering swathes of people. Everyone wants to only exist for Max's sake!(a character toward the end declares as much). Whatever Max does will be correct even if logically it makes 0 sense. His wives are essentially Pokemon. He's got at least one of everything so far, multiple in some cases. I know next to nothing about them other than a very hilarious plot line about one of them being raped on the daily for years, which you'd think wouldn't be funny, but fear not because Max cured her of the trauma with a single good shagging! Most of every book and this one especially is people relaying what we already witnessed in an even more ball gargling way. e.g. we follow a first person telling of a fight, someone talks about the fight and how amazing Max is. repeat. His women will gush over his exploits and be violently aroused by such feats as turning into a monster and ripping a man into pieces as they scream. Max is constantly challenged by random fodder who he brutally murders to the loving adoration of whoever is watching. This entire series is absurd and makes me concerned for the author's grasp of reality.

tl;dr I highly recommend this. The last bit of this book is without a doubt some of the funniest crap I've ever heard. Graphic details, all holes in play, "white gold", like 8 people at once, with dialogue that would make the prequels blush all delivered with professionalism and enthusiasm. I've been laughing since book one and it keeps getting funnier. I didn't know I could gag from listening to an audiobook! Thanks!

Good book

Has a nice split between spice and liteRPG. One one the best yet on story telling.

great listen

this series is going well. I really like the writing and characters and narration. I do not have any small criticisms at all. I listen just to be entertained and this book does just that.

I wanted to like it

This book isn’t very fleshed out and sometimes it’s repetitive at some points almost word for word. And don’t get me started on character actions some seem really out of character just to make a problem or have future knowledge

Good follow up.

Not bad for a second book in the series. It seems like the story is moving a bit too fast,

good but

Seriously I enjoy the story but can litterally every one of these writers stop relying on the whiny bitch syndrome to define their mc, who keeps complainimg "I DIDNT WANT THIS WHYYYYY MEE!" To push plot and conflict, especially parts that have little consequences.

decent book

good OP mc book. logical reason for it. the timeline needs to be maintained a little better. unless I missed it and he is actually reincarnated. but if not he feels a little too Earthy. even said they were ready to rock and roll. narrator saying that fine but the mc?

I’ve listened to worse

I’m a fan of MC’s that are strong with good leadership skills. 1 out of 2. A lead Ranger forgets to tell everyone the Duke’s son was alive? A creative writer doesn’t need this crazy scenario to find content
