Once again, well written, engaging and leaves you wanting more. The cast of characters are multilayered, you think you’re feeling one way about someone and find the author has ever so subtly changed your mind. Waiting with bated breath for the next book in the series.

I find myself wondering, where is this story going? I find myself not liking this little girl at all. You can't tell, or you'd be hard pressed to figure out that not only she grew up in church, but that she grew up with 2 parents, it's like she didn't get raised with any discipline at all. The way she violated boundaries. She don't learn lessons. She started off the story at 20, about to be 21 now she's 22, but there's no growth in her. There's no maturity in her. She's still not listening to good advice at 22 the same way she didn't listen to them tell her Tyler was not a good guy at 20.
You could not tell that she grew up in church because she just did not know the word period.
She continues to make bad situations worse, everybody was telling her that guy was not right. She went to those people church camp and acted up showed her complete behind. But get outraged, when they call her out on what she doing. Even though they was being hypocritical, because they didn't never say nothing to him. I was really hoping this would be a 2 book series. But apparently it's gonna be dragged out to a third book. I really hope that it ends with the next book. The book didn't really get interesting until the end ,the literal last scene. Where's the slow burn? I see no slow burn,Im agitated. I would like to see her mature a bit in the next book, please. Anyway, I am hard pressed to understand how Zoe's mother. Knowing her husband left her with so much debt. They need to have a roof over their heads. She just the decide, she not gonna open up the restaurant... girl the bills keep coming even if you sell the restaurant, those bills are still there. They watched that 80-year-old man burnout his last little candal flame, and nobody said nothing that lady knew her and her husband was old. Well, she didn't try to learn the business. She didn't try to do nothing and just disappeared when he died. I understand grief, but we also understand bills. Where was they gonna live when the restaurant is gone? And the apartment is gone. I'm just saying..

I'm loving Erica's journey in this town, but that love/lust bond she has with Tyler needs to be severed. Poor Zoey, just dang this girl has been sooo sheltered. Personally with the twins, you'll think the girl twin is obsessed with her brother. King on the other hand has been through some things to hold that celibacy vow so strong, but I believe he has a crazy side and I can't wait to see it!!!!

LIKE FOR REAL...WTH!
