I almost think it is better than book 1!

Christopher J. Lynch is such a talented author! I read book 1 and loved it. Book 2 is so good, I almost want to say it is better. Although it is a continuing series, the author does such a good job of information, it stands on it's own. One Eyed Jack is a blackmailer without a conscience, but with a heart. Heck of a combination, but it works! His trouble with the Russian came to a head, but is it over? Guess you will need to read it to find out.
Tom Jordan is one of my favorite male narrators. (I have a few!) The timber of his voice is PERFECT for Jack. His acting abilities is superb and his narration is right on. At NO point do I find myself NOT immersed in the story of the book. So much so, that I finished this 6 hour book in 3 days...which made me very sad because I wasn't ready for the story to end. Impatiently waiting for book 3!

Well written and narrated

Christopher J. Lynch wrote an interesting novel. I was hooked from the beginning. Tom Jordan has that voice that makes you feel you are in the action. I wasn't surprised or caught off guard. I work in an office and found a few of the males walking by more than they needed to. Several asked what is this. I passed it on. Oh yeah. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Will one-eyed Jack survive the Russian?

Jack’s past is catching up with him in this story...in the guise of a mean Russian...the one responsible for Jack’s missing orb. In order for Jack to save himself...and possibly get rid of his nemesis for good...he must first learn the identity of the guy. This is not an easy feat since the guys had facial reconstruction done by none other than the plastic surgeon who had removed Jack’s eye. The Russians have ramped up efforts to catch Jack and he’s on the run. He enlists the aid of the dead plastic surgeon’s widow to find files that he’s convinced are hidden somewhere. I really enjoy Jack’s resourcefulness and cunning! The elaborate disguises and how he is always one step ahead...until he isn’t...oops. But in the end, the bad guys are caught/dead and Jack ends up with the girl...all is right again in Jack’s world...the end???
Awesome story and the narrator’s voice lulls you into believing that you’re right there with Jack.

Another Fun Read about One Eyed Jack

I listened to the first of these books a year or two ago and just found this second novel. I really like the character and enjoyed it very much! Great performance, once again, by Tom Jordan!

Excellent Book Two!

I'm actually listening to two Tom Jordan books right now. I am simply amazed how both books sound like him and yet neither have the same vibe nor cadence. He really is something special.

Book one in this series was intense. Book two stopped my heart a few times.

John took the fight to the bad guys this time. He was out to avenge his eye. He was out to avenge his friends. His mission took on one heck of a ruthless band of Russians. He came out victorious but not without some bruises.

A great story plus great narration equals a fantastic listen!

Great follow up to the first book

This story continues on from the events of the first book in the series. It was good to see Jack in action again as he goes up against a Russian Mafia boss. The characters and plot were good. The story went along at a good pace. Plenty of action for those who like faster-paced read/listen. The narration was great with voices for all the different characters, and I felt the production had been completed to a high standard. Recommended. I was given a copy of this audiobook for an honest review.

It’s a great roulette of a story

This story picks up where book 1 ends . The author Christopher knows how to keep you guessing. Just like the first book, this one is non-stop action. Tom Jordan was smooth , clear and he brought the story to life , Tom has a strong clear voice

One eye Jack needs to find out who took his marker. Why he investigated it , he runs into the Russian Mob It also has blackmail since that is what Jack is good at . Along the way you see Where the cops come in . The mob is interested in the diamonds . Does Jack find out about the marker.
This story will have you hooked from the first sentence till the end.
I highly recommend it
