Excellent way to learn the Russian.

It is a handy audiobook and indeed helped me with reading Russian letters and sounding them out correctly. I listen tothe book through; there isn't much to it, but the way the audiobook is put together and the way the contents are grouped makes it much easier. I would recommend it to learners of Russian who are unfamiliar with the Cyrillic alphabet as it will help.

A brilliant book for beginners

I have enjoyed the author's approach to initiate learning the Russian Language. Enjoy working with the title and recommend it for anyone wishing to start out learning this very interesting language. While not an easy language to learn right away, the author makes it apparent that working with the material in the album is followed by additional material later on when one has already will allow making progress. Definitely a good starter.

An extremely helpful for Russian language-learners

The author takes the time to offer extensive descriptions of the sound of a composition of Russian as compared to English, which is expressly salutary for native English speakers. The script is clear enough that you could follow along in this album without a teacher or class. The myths section is particularly helpful; the author paints a pretty hopeful view of learning in Russian but also offers nicely measured, basic texts that are short enough that a beginning learner could work through them.
Overall I would recommend this for individual study in combination with other media so that you also hear/see lots of Russian spoken as you're learning!
