Good start

Good start. I believe that this is only helpful in a taught course. It is Sheffield University's book for the first year.

Very helpful resource

There is a great perspective of activities you can do in the audiobook as well as online. The website, which you will practice often with the audiobook, has many practices that include listening and repeating which are naturally required to learning a language! I know some people complain about online activities, but I am usually sitting with my audiobook, notebook, and laptop all on my desk.

THIS AUDIO NEEDS A TRANSCRIPT

This is a great book but really needs a transcript pdf because some of what she is saying can’t be followed. And I could not find a pdf to buy anywhere only the hard cover which is very difficult to get!!!

Awesome and Useful

This is comprehensive. This is exhaustive. If you are planning to take your kids and flee to Russia to get away from woke imperialism, this is a must have. The narrator has a soothing voice.

It's TERRIFIC!!

This is a SUPERB book!! It walks you step by step from the beginning. The constant repetition of lessons in various ways (reading, writing, listening, speaking) helps you to memorize new dictionary and phrases.

A great guide.

Of course, when beginning a language as a novice, you will progress more quickly if you have a live instructor. But, whether you choose this book as a means to begin learning Russian and get a feel for the language, or as a complement to your Russian class, it is a great opportunity either way!

Highly reccomended

I do require to end by saying something that I love about the book. I liked that there are a good amount of exercises and the answers are printed. It made it simple to use this book.

Great direction. I love very much the method and I find the ratio price-quality is simply marvelous.

This course gets a 5-star rating from me because it covers the Russian language from beginners' level to advanced. I like the way that the lessons are methodically thought out with each one building the learner's knowledge of the language step by step.

Nice and easy start for the beginner

This is the audiobook asked by my "Introduction to Russian" teacher. It should be noted that, along with this audiobook, I'm using to learn Russian, which, might I add, if very necessary if one is trying to learn on the go!
