Not a great way to learn German
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of the narrator?
Many of the scenes are in the forms of songs. Her singing performance is poor. I would cast a real singer who could sing and enunciate German words for the beginners.
Any additional comments?
The annoyingly loud background music is being played during the whole lessons. I don't know what Burliz is thinking, but this will keep you from listening to the book repeatedly. Repetitions are necessary for learning a new langugage. So the music is counter-productive. I would recommend "Teach Yourself One-Day German" by Elisabeth Smith instead, for 75 minutes of fun, productive and quick learning of German.
