A good listen

A great book, drew me in right away to the life of these werewolves. Kept me going, always wanting to know what would come next. Will definitely keep going with the series.

I liked everything about the book, and I will recommend to family and friends can’t wait for the next one

Strong female leads

Henley is a strong female who has had a long life of trauma due to her unique gift. Finally she is with a pack that has her head spinning because this pack is so different it must be a trick or temporary. Admitting her feelings and trusting are not something that come easy and she slowly begins opening up. Lots of sexual tension, but no sex this book. 16+

Strong lead females, interesting story line, great narrator, just enough sexual mention, over all great read!

Great Read! Love this Alpha!

Lovely, lovely, lovely. The Alpha is swoon worthy. The female protagonist is strong and engaging. There is humor ( I LOVE the vodka and marshmallow scene!) and drama and plot twists and EVERYTHING you could want from a good shifter book. The narrator is excellent. The writing is smooth. And… there’s a cliffhanger. Which is always a bit of a jolt. But otherwise 5/5.

DNF- glad it was free

I had high hopes for this, it started out pretty good, but quickly devolved into a ridiculous heroine that was self absorbed, childish, and irritating! All she did the whole book was tell him Come here/ Go away! Oh, and eat pizza and drink copious quantities of vodka til she was puking, ugh, so gross! What I thought would be a unique plot and maybe have an interesting mystery attached to it, turned into a chaotic mess- just made him kill half the alpha wolves in America, LITERALLY, and gave her fuel for her gigantic pity party that she drank herself stupid over in practically every other scene! I'm SHOCKED that this got such glowing reviews, I was so disgusted by her I had to quit listening, ugh! When she started publicly making out with other guys right in front of him, just to hurt him, for no other reason than that he loved her and wanted her to be his mate and rule with him-- ugh ugh ugh! What a bi#ch! Oh, no, boo hoo hoo, she didn't want that responsibility because she HATED alphas and didn't want to BE one- like she couldn't just be a decent person no matter her position- but I guess she knew what a self centered narcissistic she was, so kudos to her for saving everyone from herself! I don't even care how it ends- if he's smart, he will RUN, not walk away from that train wreck!😂😂😂

Ok

I was excited to listen to this book, however, by the tenth chapter I wanted to strangle to FL. Yes I know her character has been damaged but she was extremely annoying and rude and back and forth about her feelings. I will not be continuing the series. I did enjoy all the other characters of the story and wished for a better character for the ML.

Cool world but characters not my style

No problems with narrator, I just didn’t really like the drawn out, dramatic dialogue. I thought the world was cool & I overall enjoyed the book but a lot of dialogue-heavy scenes were very boring to me…I am someone who re-listens to books but I probably won’t re-listen to this or continue the series.

I really wanted to like it

main character becomes annoying. She has a weird obsession with her boobs. I truly wanted to like this book but it took way to long for the story to really start unfolding.

If there was an award for creating the ultimate B&$tch character..this author right here would definitely be in the running. I still have no clue what the story was supposed to be about.
