From the founder and lead pastor of The Church of Eleven22, this national bestseller explores what happens when the incomparable power of God’s grace meets our deepest needs.

Grace is one of the most important concepts in Christianity, and it’s also one of the most misunderstood, misapplied, and most abused. Run Over By the Grace Train explores the topic of grace: what it is, how we receive it, and how it changes absolutely everything about us. In this deep, spiritually rich book, Joby Martin offers nine key lessons central to understanding God’s grace as the central theme of the Christian life. Joby helps readers dig deep into scripture and understand that:

·We are saved by grace alone
·Grace can’t be lost
·Grace does not condemn
·The sinner and the saint both need God’s powerful grace in equal measures

This life-changing book is written in Joby’s characteristic straight-talk, wry style that entertains as it teaches. Run Over by the Grace Train is an ultimately encouraging, inspiring, and fulfilling look at the power of God’s grace.

Reseñas de la Crítica

“Joby wrote this book with the same biblical precision, passion, and conviction with which he preaches, and you will be so blessed to read it. With Joby's signature sense of humor, you will laugh and also be moved to tears when you learn of the grace of God upon your life... This book is essential for those who want to know the truly abundant life in Christ.”—Phil Hopper, Lead Pastor, Abundant Life Church, Author
“In Run Over by the Grace Train, author Joby Martin beautifully explains how grace is at the foundation of a life of faith, and why so many of us fail to understand its rich complexity. Using rich biblical ideas, relatable analogies, and real-world application, this book demonstrates our powerlessness to save ourselves, paving the way for God’s immeasurable grace to rescue us and lead us into a deep relationship with himself. Anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of how God’s unfathomable grace will transform our lives should read this book.”—Dave Ferguson, author of B.L.E.S.S.: 5 Everyday Ways To Love Your Neighbor & Change The World
“As always, Joby hits the bull’s eye with a rare mix of humor, theological precision, and practical application. If you want a better understanding of God’s grace in our world and your life, this book is for you.”—Larry Osborne, North Coast Church
“With the insight of a theologian, Joby Martin delivers the truth about grace with the impact of a locomotive. Through the pages of Run Over by the Grace Train, the truly life-transforming gift of grace through Jesus is made plain for everyone. Grace isn’t captured as one more thing on a busy to-do list, it is the gift of God that helps us live with freedom, purpose, fulfillment and joy!”—Dan Reiland, Executive Pastor of Leadership Expansion at 12Stone Church, Author and Leadership Coach
“In Run Over by the Grace Train, Joby describes why he simply cannot get over the reality and repercussions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and he elucidates ways for all of us to feel the same. We should never move past it. Instead, we should dwell on it. All aboard…”—Kyle Thompson, Undaunted Life Podcast
“Grace is a word that gets tossed around in Christian circles quite frequently, and as a result can be confusing to those of us who need it most. In this book, Pastor Joby Martin cuts through any confusion with Biblical clarity regarding the power of the grace, captured in the gospel, to liberate us from sin and sanctify us for service to King Jesus. I'm thankful for a book that is so easy to read without dumbing down the rich theology of the free gift offered to us in the grace of God.”—Clayton King, Evangelist, Pastor, Author of REBORN and STRONGER

Pastor Joby has done an incredible job unpacking the gospel and the amazing reality of grace! No matter where you are in you’re walk with God (or even if you haven’t started that walk yet), this book is an excellent resource that will point you to, and unpack the truth of God’s word. Thank you, Pastor Joby, for answering the call to write this book, for you’re vulnerability, and for diligently following Jesus, doing what he’s called you to do, and making Him the focus of you’re book and your ministry.

A Must Read!!!

Very well wrote. Joby gave practical examples that relate parables and other scripture to our modern world in ways that make sense. Don't listen if you are easily offended or are the prosperity gospel type. I learned alot about the significance of certain things that I had no idea about. The prodigal son parable was one that I had read through and didn't think much of. Now that I know the significance being Joby gave history and cultural references. If your new to the faith this is a good listen, or if your a veteran Christian it's still good.

Awesome

I have been a Believer in Jesus for decades. God has used these words to spur my heart to grow more in love with Jesus and to boldly share his grace.
