I love Levi

This is Levi's story, I knew it was going to be good, but definitely didn't expect it to get to me this hard. Phoebe was the perfect complement for him, their story wasn't going to be easy due to all of Levi's past and darkness. Overall this story was what I wanted for Levi, so much pain in his heart he deserved his own story. Previous books of the series gives a lot of information into the character, so I suggest you read them all.

This is the story of man struggling to overcome childhood scars & addiction
while in the pub!pic eye. This story will make cry a and smile. The song lyrics are sung as part of the narrative. it pulls you into the Story and makes you feel Levi's pain
Overall this series is excellent and is one of my favorite rockstar books

Ruin

Ruin is the 4th book in the Black Hearts Still Beat series. This book is about Levi and Phoebe and is told from both of their points of view. We met Levi and Phoebe in the first 3 books, but I enjoyed getting to know these two characters.

Levi is the lead singer of their band. Phoebe works for the band. They had one amazing night together, and now Levi wants Phoebe, but Phoebe has been hurt by someone like Levi before.

As this book goes on, we learn more about Levi's past. Phoebe and Levi are there for each other when they need it, but will everything they have been through tear them apart?

I loved Levi so much. He is my favorite character in this series so far, and I can't wait to see what happens next with the next bandmate!

Audiobook of Ruin

I absolutely loved reading this story. However, listening to the story allowed me to become fully immersed. To hear Levi sing was amazing. It really added to the story. The female narrator was fabulous. The singer was amazing. I had a tough time listening to the male narrator. He wasn't bad, per se, but his voice was too high-pitched. Levi is a dark soul with a deep, gravelly voice. His narrator needed a more rough and gruff-sounding voice. I love this series, and now, after listening to Ruin, I will have to go back and listen to the other books. Adding songs to an audiobook truly enhances the experience.

Love this series of rock star romances.

My only complaint is the male narrator. His voice sounds too young to be a twenty-one year old.
