A tense, fast-paced sci-fi audiobook that pulls you right into the game

Royals audiobook is super immersive, thanks to dual narrators Patricia Santomasso and Sean Patrick Hopkins. Their performances make it easy to follow the shifting perspectives and bring extra intensity to Rogue’s journey through the Grand Match. The pacing works especially well in audio, turning the strategy-heavy plot into something that feels urgent and cinematic.

It can still get a bit overwhelming with all the characters and moving pieces, and you definitely have to stay focused while listening. But when you’re locked in, it’s a really engaging experience, and the ending leaves you wanting the next book immediately.

Absolutely LOVED this audio. The cover is beautiful, the narration was great and loved the story line.

Great story, missing something

I would say that my only two concerns with this story is how the main character focus seems to change from the previous novel as well as a hanger of an ending. The story is cool and the world it takes place in is absolutely amazing! Well worth the read.

round two begin!

what an exciting second chapter to this series. the character development has them becoming even more likable (they were before, but we all mature) the plot of win or an entire race gets wiped out had me going okay what happens next and it was just very enjoyable on a Tuesday evening. highly recommend this series for all those distopian lovers.
