The total royal romantic comedy package!

Ooh! A royal romance from Lili Valente?! Yes, please! Okay, for the sake of keeping this review spoiler-free, I'm going to do my best to keep the details to a bare minimum. We have Prince Andrew, aka the Royal Package, and he's about to marry Princess Elizabeth, who, as far as Andrew is concerned, is a royal bore. But agreements were made between both royal families, and this marriage is his grandfather's dying wish. As much as he loved his grandfather, though, Andrew fears that any marriage with Elizabeth will be a disaster given how different their personalities are. What's a cocky royal to do? Well, ensure that it's his bride-to-be who calls off the wedding, of course, and in order to do that, he's going to be as charmless as possible. It'll be difficult for sure, but a prince like him must do whatever is necessary for the sake of his singlehood, erm, kingdom. The he meets Elizabeth once again, and she's nothing like he remembers. What's he to do now that he's, dare he say it, charmed by his fiery, smart, and beautiful princess bride yet she doesn't want to have a single thing to do with him or his royal package?

This was, indeed, the total royal rom-com package! Lili Valente doesn't disappoint, bringing her brand of wit and humor and romance and sex, then adds in a touch of royalty to the mix. Andrew was a hoot. Seriously, the guy probably thought he was God's gift to women everywhere, blue-blooded or not, but then he's also a red-blooded male who just happened to be royal. His wife-to-be was someone he needed, even he was kinda-sorta-maybe-totally opposed to the idea of settling down to an arranged marriage with a girl he considered meek and mousy. Well, wasn't he in for a surprise and a half? Among the three sisters, Elizabeth was the oldest, so her being chosen as Andrew's bride was a given, and she accepted her fate because it was what was expected of her. Sabrina, the middle sister, didn't think too highly of Andrew, and goodness, but she was a great female character--independent and sassy. I was excited at the beginning of the book, and by the end, I was thoroughly satisfied. Valente's writing and her narration alongside Shane East, who was fab as always, earns royal kudos. Five stars go to Royal Package. ♥

Enjoyed every bit!

I enjoyed every part of this book! I was captivated since the very beginning and couldn’t get enough! The performance of Shane East and LiLi Valente were amazing as usual! This book had laugh out loud moments as well as a great story! I could definitely listen to this more than once!

Royal Package by Lili Valente is a brand new story with a royal them (I LOVE THESE!!!). Welcome to the fictional royal world of Baden Bergen & Gallantia! Prince Andrew is on a mission to effectively "dissuade" his betrothed from wanting to marry him. They have nothing in common after all and an arranged marriage is NOT how he wants to spend his future life. He loves the outdoors, she is asthmatic, he will be King and be around many people, speaking publicly as will his wife, the future queen, and she has a stutter made worse the larger the crowd. Do you see his point here? Meanwhile, back in Gallantia, Princess Elizabeth (the betrothed) is convincing her identical twin sister to take her place for the good of their kingdom. Just temporarily, until before the wedding, so she can work on her project and bail the family out of debt. Feeling like her hand has been forced, Princess Sabrina agrees. She isn't dissuaded by Andrew's terrible table manners and is enjoying her time outdoors with him, even while trying to pretend to be Lizzy. But, alas, secrets this big can't stay secret for long and between Lizzy, Jeff, Sabrina, Zan and Andrew - there are a horde of secrets. Sweet, funny, romantic with a slow build to the sexy stuff. I LOVED this book and want, desperately, MORE ROYALS from the wonderful Ms. Lili!!! Enjoy

The audio version was spectacularly narrated by Lili Valente and Shane East. I mean - Swoon! Their voices embody the comedy of some of the situations they find themselves in as well as they do the more serious parts of the story. Loved the Audio!

Fun and sexy! Shane and Lili are perfect together!

Royal Package is a new standalone by the fabulous Lili Valente. Lili can write any genre and I was excited to hear she was writing a modern day royal romance! Andrew and Elizabeth were betrothed when they were kids and now it's time to actually get married. Elizabeth isn't ready and she and her twin sister Sabrina switch lives. Temporarily. Andrew wants to be King, but he's not sure marrying Elizabeth is what he wants either. He has a plan to show her a side of the future King she isn't going to like. Guess what? She's not exactly how he remembers her. She's sexier and more fun and likes taking risks. They have a lot in common, but there's just something different about her. Like maybe she's not Elizabeth after all. Sabrina didn't expect to actually like Andrew. What is going on?! He's acting weird and she's on to him. He's up to something. What happens when she falls for her sister's fiancé? Is it possible to get what she's always wanted? This story was so great! I laughed out loud and was cheering for Sabrina and Andrew! It's a sweet, sexy, fun royal romance!

Audio: Shane East and Lili Valente and magic together! Shane voice is perfect for Andrew and Lili's voice is just the right blend of sexy and sweet.

Royally delightful

Who doesn't love Shane East and Lili Valente?
Shane has the sexy voice on lock and Lili has the best bubbly voice around.

This story is full of laughs and sexy times.
Lili writes ( and speaks) the best words evaaaaaa and this story is no exception. She finds a way to make you fall in love with her words and people she creates on the pages.
This was a fantastic read if your looking for light-hearted read.

Simply wonderful

Lili Valente is the queen of the romantic comedy (in my opinion) and this latest royal matchup takes the cake. When Prince Andrew and Princess Elizabeth were promised to each other they both thought they’d have more time to get out of the arrangement. But when Prince Andrew’s grandfather passes away their timetable gets moved up.
So what other option does Andrew have than to turn off the charm and hope that his betrothed calls off the wedding. Only the woman who shows up isn’t Elizabeth, it’s her twin sister Sabrina...let the royal games begin!

Royally amazing!!

OMG I loved this book so much! I both read and then listened to it and let me just say that Shane East and Lili Valente were absolutely amazing narrating Andrew and Sabrina!! I totally adore how they brought them and this story to life and made these characters so lovable. Trust me it wasn't always easy to make Andrew lovable with all the crazy schemes he came up with to make himself uncharming. Lot's of funny laugh out loud scenes because of that though, in true Lili fashion! I love Andrew and Sabrina together, it's clear pretty early on that they were meant for each other despite all that is happening in their world! I really love the concept of this story and how it all plays out!
It is truly such a joy to read or listen to anything this author writes!

Good story but...

This was a great story but it was so great that at the end I played it on 1.7 speed(which was hilarious for the guys voice). In the beginning it was interesting; very entertaining. But things just got kinda redundant and the story stayed the same for a while. There wasn’t much build up. It was mostly like 3-4 hours of teasing and the other two hours were either introducing or ending this story. Surprisingly, with all of that, it was still enjoyable, funny and all that good stuff. So I recommend if you’re down to, at some point, get bored and just want to skip. This still seems like a negative review, promise it isn’t.
