Right Touch = Good Girl

I loved this book when I read it, but I think the audiobook is even better! Willow Winters is an extremely talented author. I have read lots of her books and enjoy her writing style. Lance Greenfield and Samantha Prescott did an excellent performance on this book. Rough Touch was originally titled Good Girl and is part of the Valetti Crime Family books. This is a standalone listen, yet part of a series. Dirty Dom is book one and available on Amazon and Audible. His Hostage is book two, and has same availability. This book is the third in the series and features Ava and Kane. I felt this story was very well written, even though it dealt with a dark topic. Both Ava and Kane overcame terrible things and made something beautiful. I thought that Ava was very resilient with what happened to her, and did not let it break her. Both narrators were able to deliver so much emotion that one would not get just reading the book. I really enjoyed listening to the male/female perspective that were portrayed in this book. Willow Winters does a great job at the character development and writes stories that keeps one gripped. The next book is Cuffed Kiss (previously titled Bad Girl), and is already on Audible. Bad Boy releases next. I think this book and the previous ones in this series are very much worth listening to again. (I have not yet listened to Cuffed Kiss, other than the preview that is included with this book, which sounds oh so good, or Bad Boy). I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at my request.

Hooked on series

I’ve listened to one book in this series each day and each book has been equal to or better than the rest. Can’t wait for the next!!

I loved Lance Greenfield and Samantha Prescott as they bought Kane and Ava alive. Willow Winters thank you for writing these characters.

The only non family book!

Kane and eva's story is so very dark that it made me cry. The pain in this book is so real that it will stay with you and that makes it a Excellent story.

Great Story

I found this a dark romance but I have to say I so enjoyed the story.

I can not imagine what Ava Ivanov went through. Here was a mafia princess and now made into a sex slave. To say her life was easy before her family was killed would not be the case. Now here she is her family dead and even some killed in front of her, raped, tortured, and now a sex slave.

Kane De Rocca had no one. His family was dead and had no family backing him. Now here his boss was wanting to get in the sex slave business. His blood boiled when he laid eyes on Ava. Not only could he tell she had been beaten and broke down but watching the way her prisoners were treating her. Here he was suppose to take her and be her master.

Ava was so broken. She had chances to get away but knew she could not. The men that had her prisoner would have her captured shortly after she would escape and she could not image what they would do to her if that happen. She had given up hope to find someone with compassion on her and want to help her. She needed someone to be her saving grace. The thing I found about Ava was that she was not only a prison by this bad men but had become a prisoner within herself. She was broken beyond compare.

Kane is attracted to Ava but he refuses to prey upon her. Ava will get were she craves and needs Kane. Things will get hot and heavy between Kane and Ave. The more time they spend together the more Kane will start to have feelings for her and want her for his own. I love that he gave her choses. It will not take long before Kane would lay down his life for her and want to give her what ever she needs.

Kane’s boss will want to go against the Valetti Crime family. Kane has to decided what side he is own and hope that it will not get him and Ava killed.

This is a very touching story. It was something reading about the struggles that Ava went through and it was amazing to see the patients that Kane had with her. He went above and beyond to see that she got the help she needed. Glad I got a chance to read this book.

here's the thing

The story is amazing! Willow never disappoints with her stories! they are always super easy to follow, steamy and sexy.

the male narrator was spot on amazing. BUT the female narrator was HORRIBLE! she missed whole paragraphs, the book would say one name she would use a completely different name that had nothing to do with the story. I like to read along as the narrator reads, it's extremely confusing to try to follow the storyline when the narrator is constantly screwing up. so to re cap: story was great, but the female narrator was bad. just putting it out there so maybe I can help someone else not be as confused as I was.

So many skipped or changed words

The female is the one who skips the most but the male just changes words like gun being unloaded and he said loaded. I like to read along with the book when I am not busy and it is distracting and I have to pause the book to red what they skipped or read wrong. It's a great story but audible part should be more accurate as this is their job.
