Totally agree with the first review

Very good. I found this transcended age . The young and old will find this audio book enjoyable.

Great coming of age book

You would think from the title and the premise, the story will be all Zombie attacks and fights all the way. It’s not. If you are not fan of the walking dead, please to not be deterred by the title. It’s a wonderful coming of age story with a zombie-infested apocalypstic-world twist. I eagerly await the sequel!

Amazing story

Truly loved this story. Was better than originally had thought it would be. A must for all Zombie heads.

Wonderful Brain Candy

Maberry, with his quick paced narrative style and good sense of character development, has written another action-packed page-turner and remains my favorite brand of brain candy.

the first 20 chapters didn't catch my attention but I was told to continue past that and after chapter 20 is when it became semi decent. The story needed more details but overall it's a good read

A bit childish but...still worth a read/listen

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The book comes across a bit immature at times. Benny is a 15 year old boy and the Author does a pretty good job of getting that across... Almost to a fault though.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Following Benny's admiration change from Charlie to his Brother is both interesting and odd at times. It seems forced at some points and then other times happens exactly how I would expect it.

Which character – as performed by Brian Hutchison – was your favorite?

Tom Imura was spot on an older Brother and performed excellently by the narrator .

Could you see Rot & Ruin being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Honestly it seems more like a TV Series to me, and one I would most likely watch.

Would you consider the audio edition of Rot & Ruin to be better than the print version?

The narrator developed a personality with each character. Not sure if I would be that precise reading it

I'm reading the rest of the series & looking to read other from Mayberry

This book was great it never got boring and the story was very good and I bet I’ll like the other books

Fun read.

This was fun and different. A little too wordy. Characters seem to speechify when they should be fighting, and they take chances for no reason other than to add drama. Cartoonish, but fun.
