Publisher's Summary

The werewolf without a pack

By night, Jackie Langdon is the outlaw vigilante White Fang, fighting crime in Reno...except when the moon is full, and she transforms into a savage werewolf with an indiscriminate blood lust that can only be contained by locking her in a cage until sunrise.

The vampire hunting her

For the last century, vampire Charlotte Pastor has slain werewolves for her secret society, The Midnight Collective. When assigned to shut down White Fang, she figures it's just business as usual.

An uneasy alliance

A supernatural force arises to threaten werewolves, vampires, and humans alike. With no time to find other allies, Jackie and Charlotte must set aside their differences. If they can't learn to trust one another, the world will pay the price.

Don’t do it

I had to give this 1 star more than I wanted just to leave this review! I really cannot tell you how good the content of this book is because it is one of the worst narratives I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. Don’t waste your credit!

Shout on top of the rooftops about this book.

I don't normally choose to read or listen to books about vampires because they just creep me out but this is such a great series that I didn't want to miss the next instalment. So glad I gave it ago because I really enjoyed it and didn't need to hide behind the sofa once and actually I stayed up past my bedtime listening. This is another very different book compared to the rest of the books, as non of the usual hero's make an appearance but to be honest they weren't really missed. White Fang and her team were just as humours, high tec, capable and caring. I liked the fact that at the start of the book the two main characters were investigating the same problem from very different angles and sides and the whole adventure kept me hooked. We all know the myths about the full moon changing werewolves and sunlight harmful for vampires and I thought the author got around those problems nicely. Its also set up nicely for another visit and I for one will be along for another night out with them.
Jackie Langdon is a famous author and there way write about what you know and that is exactly what she does when she writes the silverback novels because at night she roams the city she calls home protecting the citizen as White Fang. but White Fang isn't a super hero or a costume, she is a WEREWOLF. On one of her nightly patrols she stumbles on a young man being attacked by zombies. When he turns out to be alive but injured she takes him home and begins an investigation into how there could be zombies in the world. At the same time Charlotte Pastor is a Vampire assassin and her life has become all about wiping out Werewolves. Her latest assignment is to track and take down White Fang. It doesn't take her long to tracker her down but when she does she learns something that has all ways seemed impossible in the past. Can the two enemies come together and take down an even bigger threat to both them and the rest of civilisation?
I liked the narrator, she used her voice well to bring life into the undead and unnatural.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review..
