Love the Buchanan books

I love the 4 books of the Buchanan clan. I do wish they would use the same reader for each book but this one wasn't too bad. I like the reader of the first book. The story is sweet, but has unexpected twists in it that keeps one listening. It is a group of books I can read or listen to over and over again.

Reed is not my favorite

Good that Gloria and Reed are cleaning up their act. The self indulgence was not attractive.

Sizzling!

I was so excited to see this title, as I had been waiting for the next Buchanan family novel. This book focused on brother Reid Buchanan. The story was everything I expected - lots of humor, romance and real life drama. Reid is an ex baseball player with no interest in settling down. However, something happens that makes him reevaluate his life - thus the romance. The last book, Irresistable was better, but Sizzling was still a good listen. If you like Susan Mallery - you know what to expect and if you're not familiar, download - you won't be disappointed.

This series keeps getting better!

This is the third of the 3 (4th due out soon) Buchanan Series. It has more chuckles and more tears but it is totally sexy, exciting and touching. I love all three (so far) of these gems but be certain to read them in order. I read them out of sequence and had to re-listen to one of them to pick up on several past characters that were glanced over in later books. Listen and enjoy!

Funny yet taking you on a roller coaster of emotions.

Book was great performance really off!

Listen to the Buchanan series book narrated by Therese Plummer and hear the characters come to life. Listening to this narrator and I heard a fair story reader. Loved the story love Susan Mallery wish that she would really screen those who perform them.

Better Than The Last Susan Mallory-But Not A Fan

I bought two Susan Mallory books on sale at the recommendation of the Audible agents who are usually spot on. I'm extremely picky. The premise of this book is better than the last (Accidentally Yours) but...

This is based on a newspaper article revealing one of the main character's sexual performance....whahhhh? His grandmother breaks a hip and he sleeps with 2 out of 3 of the nurses he hires for her recovery....really?!?

There were also a couple of sub plots that were connected but they did not hold my interest enough to care how or if they were related.

I was also turned off by the man (Reid) asking his girlfriend to confront his exes for him. Way to emasculate your manly, baseball playing, hee-man. Man up, dude!

No, I don't think I'll try another.

This is a book containing some sex and a strange premise for a plot. For me it needed either a stronger plot or more steamy sex (better yet both!)

This may appeal to everyone else but for me it didn't work (see my other reviews for my preferences). It is a bit too trashy for a chic lite book but not a strong enough plot for someone looking for something more intense. It falls between genres.

Totally entertaining. I have enjoyed this entire series.

Really good series! Great characters and funny storyline. I recommend starting from the beginning, but each book is also good as a stand-alone.
