Publisher's Summary

Lucy Trabbicio, former cocktail waitress and down-to-earth American commoner, is about to marry the man of her dreams, Prince Nicholas of Fredonia, in the posh royal wedding of the year. But something goes very wrong on the way to the altar.

Now it's up to Lucy and her party-hard, take-no-prisoners Ladies-in-Waiting to solve the debacle, and get her back into sexy Prince Nick's arms in time to be Royally Wed, as well as royally bedded.

A modern day, sexy tale with romance, twists and turns, laughter, and a whole lot of hanky-panky!

    "My Thoughts on Royally Wed"

Book 2 in this series was much like book 1. The characters were quirky and their antics were entertaining. It didn't pick up right where book 1 left off. There was some time in between in which memories were made that were referenced later in the book either as funny remembrances or sometimes funny cautionary tales.

I was happy for the passage of time that took place prior to the wedding which allowed the appearance at least that Lucy and Nick had time to get to know each other. While I wish I could have seen some of that first hand, I was happy it happened so I didn't get left feeling that their relationship was so insta-love like.

Overall this story had a nice, easy to follow storyline with a good narrator to help me enjoy it more. The ending definitely has you looking out for the next one so you can learn more. The only thing I was left wishing at the end was that the voice for Nick in this one wasn't so reminiscent of his brother's. It was occasionally confusing and threw me out of the moment. However it quickly pulled me back.

    "Couldn't turn it off...Intrigued!!!"

I had a lot of unanswered questions starting this book, some were answered in this book & I hope that book 3 will be just as entertaining!! I wish I had friends like the ladies in waiting!! Some parts of this book were a bit unrealistic, but for the most part, it was a fun & enjoyable. I 100% recommend this series of books. Enjoy!!!

"Where fairy tales and real life collide ...."
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Ms. Dumond has the perfect formula for romance. Love, laughter and perhaps happily ever after. Royally Wed is short enough to complete in one setting but long enough to leave an impression.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lucy is a mass of neurotic charm that is hard not to love. You can take the girl out of the city but not the city out of the girl.

Which character – as performed by Lesley Ann Fogle – was your favorite?

Lucy gives clueless innocence a face. She can make a person laugh at her antics while becoming a woman learning what it means to grow up and make her place in the world.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The talk between Lucy and Nick's grandma was a bit uncomfortable but alot hilarious. The sex talk was a highlight.

    Any additional comments?

    This series is great.

    Yes

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

    Yes.

    Any additional comments?

Fun , fast paced book. No angst or unnecessary drama. Pure fun while listening to the audio book.

I enjoy romantic comedies and especially those revolving around Royals.

    Lucy constantly made me smile.

"Lots of Light Relief & fun situations tickled my sense of humor!"

Wanted a little light relief from some very heavy issue books I had read. The Royally Wed: Ladies-in- Waiting & the one before it were just what I needed!
