Publisher's summary

June Hudson is the town's doctor, a caring, capable woman who now has a bit of explaining to do. People are beginning to notice the bloom in her cheeks - and the swell of her belly. Happily, DEA agent Jim Post is back in June's arms for good, newly retired from undercover work and ready for new beginnings here in Grace Valley. Expecting the unexpected is a way of life in Grace Valley, and the community is overflowing with gossip right now. Who is the secret paramour June's aunt Myrna is hiding? Does the town's poker-playing pastor have too many aces up his sleeve? But when dangers, from man and nature, rise up with a vengeance to threaten June and the town, this community pulls together and shows what it's made of. And Jim discovers the true meaning of happiness here in Grace Valley: There really is no place like home.

Not so Much... : (

Loved the Virgin River Series. I usually love anything by Robyn Carr & Therese Plummer. BUT....just did not keep my interest. Guess you can only listen to the same ole story lines & charactors so long. It kills me to post this review. Just my 2 cents.

This Trilogy is Good but Not VR quality

I finished all three of The Grace Valley Trilogy and it is a good storyline and no matter when the story gets a bit slow, Therese Plummer is such a great narrator, it doesn't seem that bad. I do like listening about these little towns and the people's lives who live there. It is great mindless entertainment that grabs you into the neighborhood.
Robyn Carr also dropped the ball as these books are very G Rated. Thunder Point and VR books had much better loving than this one did. "As she opened the covers and he joined her and they made love"..... That doesn't cut it Robyn.
But,, they are worth a listen.

Forgive but I couldn't forget

To be honest I was somewhat disappointed where Robyn put the focus of this 3rd book I would have and expected the focus on Jim and June instead it went mostly on Chris and Nancy and other tragic events I did not like Chris or Nancy and I hoped she wrote them out of the book just my preference. If there is a four book I must admit I probably won't be interested.but I will go back and listen to virgin rivers now just a overall great series.

this is the best of Robin Carr!

I really like Robin's Virgin river books but this Grace Valley was the BEST! I teared up on the ending. loved June and Jim and felt like all the characters were good. hated to see the end of the trilogy.

Enjoyed the community spirit of the characters

A large portion of the book rehashed the last two books of the trilogy. Somewhat captivating story but June was a wee bit irritating at times along with Elmer.
