Picked for the narration

I chose this book because Callie Dalton and Teddy Hamilton narrate it. The story wasn’t as strong as I would have liked, but there were some interesting twists and turns. I am still giving it 4 stars. It wasn’t bad, I was just expecting more sizzle.

storyline was suspenseful

I love both of these narrators. intense, edge of your seat suspense, will have you shocked by the end. steamy, intense romance.

Hot cop going undercover as a male stripper?

Okay, I loved Magic Mike, so I am just the type of person who would love this kind of story. I've never read anything from Karen Rock before, but I am so glad I took a chance on this. It was HOT--(much in thanks to Callie Dalton and Teddy Hamilton, both of whom are amazing narrators of the sexy variety). I see there's another in the series coming out this summer and I hope it's about Nash!!!!

Story: 4 Stars; Audio: 5 Stars!

This is the first romantic suspense that I have read by this author and as always, quality writing. Romantic suspense isn't a go-to genre for me, but I do usually enjoy it when I make the time to read it. I liked the characters and the mystery plot, but have never been a fan of strip clubs in my fiction or otherwise. Yet, the club was only a setting fixture in the beginning of the story. It only factored in peripherally throughout the rest. Overall, I enjoyed the mystery and romance, but the story didn't always flow organically and some scenes felt a bit forced. Not enough to stop reading, but enough to notice and somewhat take me out of the story. The mystery was also a little predictable, but that never bothers me since I enjoy seeing how everything ties together. I must say, it all tied together seamlessly and was well thought out. I interchangeably listened to the audio and the narration was superb. Callie Dalton is a favorite narrator of mine and the sole reason I purchased the audio to go with my ebook. Teddy Hamilton was new to me, but was also incredible.
