A pinch of salt

I enjoyed this book! Lovely romance with family members making for a really good experience. Oh, and a tiny bit of Elvis added in.

Slow burn with light angst!

Millie and Jackson are completely adorable. I fell super quickly for Jackson and his daughter Kayla. This is one of those audiobooks that just generally makes you feel good. It makes you smile sweetly and fall in love a bit yourself. I loved the narrator, Melanie Ewbank. She has a wonderful voice for the slow burn with light angst. This audiobook is perfect for a light, summer read that will quickly capture your heart.

A Pinch of Salt

A love story that has a few hurdles to overcome that are so realistic the author did an amazing job. Single parents definitely have it hard when trying to move on and yet take their child’s feelings into consideration as well. I loved this book and will definitely be listening to the next!

Millie and Jackson!

Millie is a caterer and she and her two twin sisters started Three Sister’s Catering. She is manning the shop alone one day when an attractive man comes in looking to arrange a tea party for his daughter’s birthday so even though it is not normally something they would do she agrees.

Jackson is a high school teacher and single father to his nine year old daughter Kayla since his wife left over a year ago. He is trying to make this birthday special for his daughter but he is so out of his element in arranging a tea party. When he meets Millie he is interested in much more than a tea party.

This is a wonderful story about family and love and the complications that come with them. All the characters are well developed including Kayla and Millie’s two sisters. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading Tasha’s story. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of the audio book from the author.

Sweet Romance!

This is the first book in the Three Sisters Catering Series. This is a sweet and beautiful single Dad story. Millie and Jackson are great characters. Millie is lovely, supporting, and caring. Jackson is handsome, and a good Dad. His daughter is a complex character. I liked Tasha and Dru, Millie's sisters. The other supporting characters are great. The storyline is interesting, and heartwarming, filled with drama. I like the family bonds in this story. Melanie Ewbank did a good job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Tasha and Jerico's story in A touch of Cinnamon, the next book in the series.

Totally sweet!

Pinch of Salt by Bethany Lopez is a great story with equally great characters and a plot that was engaging. The narrator did a nice job of bringing the characters to life for a very enjoyable listening experience.
Overall, Millie and Jackson were wonderful all around and I was beyond excited for their HEA.

Sweet Romance

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This book was exactly what I needed. I have been in a book hangover from a series I was reading and this brought me out of it. I loved Millie and Jackson. The story was so sweet. I cannot wait to read the next book. The narrator was enjoyable too!

Sweet romance with some spice

This is a sweet fun romance with some spice and brattiness thrown in there. And who doesn't love that? I have two sisters and totally get the sister-bonding/relationships and it made me miss my sisters especially now when I can't see them. The story of Jackson and Millie was great to experience but I can't wait for Tasha's story with the Prime Beef owner. Yowza!

Lovely and full of spice!

Sometimes you just need a light romance, and this one definitely delivers a sweet and fun romance.

I have sisters and totally related to the sister-bonding/relationships and enjoyed that part of the story immensely.

It was fun to see the story unfold between Jackson and Millie.

Enjoyable book

I liked this story and it's not filled with a lot of angst to draw it out. I'm looking forward to listening to the next in the series. Melanie Ewbank was a great narrator.
