Publisher's summary

When Major Zoey Granger exposed corruption in the ranks, she became an unwitting media darling and shot to a position reporting to top brass at the Pentagon. Now Zoey finds herself in the unwanted spotlight once again, this time at the heart of a scandal that threatens to devastate the military. Her efforts to contain the fallout are thwarted when the White House assigns a notorious DC fixer to oversee her every move.

Political insider Rook Daniels can fix any problem, no matter how illicit or indictable, but she has two rules: she picks her cases and she's in charge. When she makes an exception for an old friend at the White House, she gets tangled up with a sexy but stubborn officer who has her own ideas about authority. Rook and Zoey must decide whether a chance at love is worth risking loss of reputation in a town where appearances rule.

Duty, Honor, ad Country

Major Zoey Granger had become a whistleblower when she discovered that officers under her command were selling arms and taking bribes. She now stateside in order to testify before Congress. Rook Daniels is a political insider who run a business as a fixer. They have nothing in common but the magnetic attraction between them. While investigating a sex scandal for the Pentagon they uncover more than junior officers letting off steam. A chase to uncover the truth behind a conspiracy. Great author.

Great Story

After listening to this book, it sounds like Carson Taite was aiming on writing an episode for the T.V. show Scandal. It came out great. Great suspense story with precise rhythm until the last note. I read most of Carson Taite books, for me this one is the best so far. The narration was descent enough.

Good book, horrible narration.

The book was good, if somewhat predictable and the ending seemed rushed.
I really had a hard time finishing the book and had to stop and then start again due to the narration. The voice inflection was awful. Will not buy another book with this narrator.

Excellent Audio!

I loved A More Perfect Union. Great political insider book. You are inside the White House and The Pentagon. Major Zoey Granger and Rook Daniels are two great main characters. I love the interaction between them. Hollis Elizabeth does an excellent job with the narration.

Good read!

Liked it. Narrator was good. Likeable characters. Would have liked an epilogue. What happened after characters decided to be together?

Good Book!

Plot development was well written. The twist at the end was well plotted! The two main characters had chemistry out of the park! The narration of the book was very well done!
