A good review of all major myths

This book gives a fine survey of Roman belief. Each of the above stories and multiple of the minors is included here. I would have wanted to see more of the myths from other religions, but it is natural that they are not involved, given the point that the work. A useful manual to myths.

A Roman Synthesis

I love this book. I found Matt's "Mythology" while in high school midway through the last century. I loved it then, and I've always learned it. Very well simplified, and nice illustrations!

Show the depth of human emotions!!!

Any additional comments?

I truly love the book and would've returned it, however, it is the examples of the Roman Gods and Goddesses that are very hard for me to compare to. I would purchase this book again but may be applied rather of fresh.

A true guide for history lovers.

Any additional comments?

I read about this in my school days so when I saw this book I immediately decided to download this. This was an Interesting read the way the mythology was tangled with the history to designate where and why the stories might have happened.

Not Bad, But Not Great

It sounded more like it should be a novella than an audiobook. Some elements were well presented while others were not, with the format of the audiobook not helping this. Could have been better, but the core information in the book was still good.
