Haywood County sits tucked away in the mountains of North Carolina, where most people think the biggest crime is someone stealing newspapers off front porches. The rolling hills and quiet streets make it look like the kind of place where nothing bad ever happens. People wave at each other from pickup trucks and know their neighbors by name. But underneath this peaceful surface, something dark has been growing.

Sergei ‘Mikhas’ Mikahlov runs his trucking company, Power Up Diesel, out of neighboring Buncombe County like any other business owner. What the community doesn't know is that Sergei has turned his legitimate business into the perfect cover for moving drugs through the mountains using Food on Time delivery service.

The operation works like clockwork. Drivers pick up what looks like normal food deliveries but hidden inside the bags are carefully packaged drugs ready for distribution. Sergei partnered with Flip, a Folk Nation gang member who knows the streets and has connections that reach far beyond the county lines. Together, they built a network that moves products faster than law enforcement can track it.

Jody Bartlett has spent years as a probation and parole officer in these mountains. He knows every back road, every family with trouble, and every sign that something isn't right in his territory. When small clues started pointing toward Sergei's operation, most people would have called it in to the state police and let someone else handle the big fish. But Jody isn't most people.

Sergei has other things in mind. He is wanting redemption against an adversary that has been a thorn in his side longer than he would normally allow. The mindset behind creating the Food on Time delivery service was not just to push his drugs, but he is wanting to finally kill off his most hated adversary. The one man that he underestimated one to many times. It is time to kill Jody Bartlett.

Sergei’s niece, Oksana Rykova, has plans of her own. She is out to handle the one that caused the death of her soulmate, Vyacheslav Ivankov, better known as Warlock. She has her own mind on redemption.

Who will get redemption first? Will Sergei finally kill Jody? Will Oksana kill Jody? Who will attain the ultimate goal of redemption?
