Given what I do for a living/with my life, this feels like the most significantly helpful and meaningful biography of a filmmaker I've ever experienced. Mr. Altman's work has had a profound effect on me and now this celebration of his life and work has, too.

If you like that sort of thing!

I have listened to all of Zuckoff's books. All were exceedingly good. I ranther wondered why he did this book. It is just a lot diffferent than the others. It mainly talks about all the movies Altman did with bits from various people about the books and how Altman was. It has some interesting content, but certainly is not compelling. If you want a good Zuckoff book do "Frozen in Time," or "Lost in Shangri La"
