He made everyone think he was dead. The Police told everyone that it was safe again. Safe to go outside, safe to lead a normal life. The problem? They were all wrong! The Stranger is back with a thirst for blood, and a sick, twisted desire to kill, torture, and maim. If you thought book one was gruesome, you were sadly mistaken. Book two is a high-octane extreme horror thriller like you have not heard before. Very few boundaries were left untouched. The one question, can the Stranger be stopped finally?

The best part about a book, is that moment you can put it down, and say at least that can't happen in real life, until now. The Uninvited will leave you checking your doors, locking your windows and skipping the weekend camping trip. Meet the stranger, a killer who is unbiased about who it chooses to be the victim, and never tires of the killing. If Dexter and Leatherface had a baby, The Uninvited would be their offspring.

When, in boredom, he tunes into a mysterious shock radio show, he finds himself caught up in a horrifying game. In 2009, The Avian presented the tragic story of Jove. They Call Us Monsters, a brand new novella and the final book of this amazing fantasy-horror trilogy, brings these characters together - and all hell breaks loose. Story
It's a nice house on a country road. Jack and Erika Harris expect to be happy there. It doesn't matter that they're living in a deserted suburb where, years ago, murders and mutilations destroyed the residents. It doesn't matter...until those that caused the deaths come back - those that sprang from the earth. Those that need. Those that are not human. The Harris's nice house stands between them and what they must have. Nothing has ever mattered more.

Don't Be a Good Samaritan
Shorty story in the vein of Twilight Zone and a fun listen that was over before I knew it. Definitely had me wondering what was going on the whole time and had a solid ending. Enjoyed John’s character and mentally was able to go through the same processes he was. I felt I was able to relate to him perfectly, even given how short the story is. Steve White did a great job with the narration. Definitely added to the suspense and tension of the story.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Good short story, excellent performance,
I had a one hour drive from Philadelphia to Delaware and a friend recommended this to me. The patient and detailed descriptions sucked me in, and the tensions build very well through the story. I appreciated listening without spoilers, as I genuinely wasn't aware of the twists it would take. I found the reader particularly engaging. Glad the weather was nice on my drive or this would have been even more eerie.
