Oh these macho alpha heroes and their egos. Hot and super sexy guaranteed. Protective and a marshmallow when it comes to a heroine’s needs.

The town betting on the acknowledgment of Colton and Melanie being a couple is humerus.
The couple together is sexy and heartwarming.

I alternated between a paperback and audiobook. The narrator did a great job with emotions and voice variations.

Fun Series

This is a great series and very different from her other Paranormal Romance Series. This is a fun contemporary romance series with a Native American bent, centered around one family and their close friends. You will laugh and you will cry.
Stories are worth a credit, narration is excellent. For adults only.

Quick and easy read/listen

This is the third book in this series focused on Maverick, Montana. This book spotlights Melanie Jacobs and Colton Freeze. They have been best friends FOREVER. Actually, there are three in their group Hawk being the third in their trio. But Hawk has been deployed and the three have kind of grown apart as they have gotten older.

Melanie has been in a relationship that died a while ago and they are really just friends at this point, but she is getting worried about her timeline for being able to become a mother. She has decided that she is going to pursue some options on proceeding alone.

Colton is the man with the plan. He plans EVERYTHING. When he discovers that Melanie is having some unexpected issues, he decides it is his job to help.

We get to watch the fireworks as the two of them try to navigate the change in their relationship from friends to ......something more?

A quick and easy read/listen that ends with a really satisfying HEA. The funniest thing to me was the town bet.

Friends become more for the 3rd Lodge brother

Ok story but the narration is irritating. Stella Bloom’s voice is so high picked that it grates on the ears. The voice of Leila is so saccharine sweet it is nauseating and the inflections are overdone. The story was ok but hard to enjoy with poor narration.
