Publisher's Summary

Cyber Armageddon has come. America will not survive!

Cyber-security analyst Kate McCarthy knows something ominous is about to happen in the US banking system. She has a place to go if things get hectic, but it’s far from the perfect retreat.

When a new breed of computer virus takes down America’s financial network, chaos and violence erupt. Access to cash disappears and credit cards become worthless. Desperate consumers are left with no means to purchase food, fuel, and basic necessities. Society melts down instantly and the threat of starvation brings out the absolute worst humanity has to offer.

In the midst of the mayhem, Kate will face a post-apocalyptic nightmare that she never could have imagined. Her only reward for survival is to live another day in the gruesome new reality which has eradicated the world she once knew.

As with all works by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.

Another Great book by Mark Goodwin

What can I say, this book was simply excellent and I can't wait for the next one in the series to be released.

The story is great, compelling and keeps your interest....oh and there is a really cool twist with the way this book begins.

The narrator does a fantastic job and I am thrilled that the author kept her in the line up from the Ava series. A bad narrator will totally kill an audio book and Stacey Glemboski did an excellent job narrating this new book.

COULD THIS BE,,,,,,,

could this be a look into days to come? mark has another great series in the making. the story and the narrator will pull you into the book as though you are there and makes it hard to stop listening. I am not a religious man but with all his books he gets you to open up and think of things from a different view. keep up the good work and can't wait till the next book.

Great Start to another Awesome series by Mark!!

Fantastic book on possibly the most likely scenario for a meltdown in today's world. So glad to see Stacey narratoring this, she's fantastic. Being a Christian, I love Mark's approach to spreading the gospel in a setting that many of the unprepared are likely to find themselves in. Keep it up mark!!!

Amazing! Right out of the headlines!

Mark, this is another great one! I have read all your books most more than once. I love your uncompromising position on how what we believe as Christians will be forced to collide with what’s to come. This book could easily be the the history for a near tomorrow. I can’t wait for the next volume. One last thing, once again you have picked the perfect reader for your book. As an avid Audible listener, that’s so important. I’m never disappointed with a Goodwin book!

Another winner!

Mark Goodwin is the one author whose new releases I search for on a weekly basis, even though I know that realistically he cannot write so quickly. There is always a good story about characters with depth and I love how he puts the sovereignty of God in there somewhere.

Typical Mark Goodwin Story

If you enjoy a ok preppier story and don’t mind the biblical rhetoric then this may be for you. Typical hysteric youths and women but a solid read.

Mr Goodwin I like your stories but it would be nice to see some of the characters have some backbone and ability to see that it is truly s that is on the fan. I know that this formula that you have been writing has been proven to drive the story, and that you are committed to spread the good word biblically as well as on a prepper level but some people are known to rise to an occasion. Let your characters be them. It will differentiate you from those who are chunking out the prepper version of a harlequin romance.
Please. Readers are getting tired of the drek that this genre has been putting out lately. Thank you. A fan.

So much promise

All a bit tame in the end, meandering through to a weak climax, Glemboski does a great job narrating but it’s not enough to instill any magic into the tale, if there is a book two, I will give it a wide berth
