Publisher's summary

Rael wakes to find herself at an unexpected crossroads in her young life. She has come on vacation to Europe in hopes of forgetting about the past, including failing at the most critical thing in her life: skiing. Of course, at sixteen nearly everything can feel like the most important thing in your life at any moment. Still, Rael is pretty sure training for six years and losing her big race by a tenth of a second is the lowest possible point her life can reach. Well, she was sure of that—until she wakes up in a stone room, alone, bound by rope, and in the care of a vampire. A situation like that is bound to cause a young woman to reevaluate her certainties.

Rael would like to think of herself as the type of person who is far too sophisticated to believe in silly things such as demons. Unfortunately for her, demonic cults are more than willing to believe in her. Well, not in her as a person. It is what is inside of Rael that the demons really want, for Rael apparently has the sort of soul just right for communion with the demonic world. And demonic cults are more than willing to sacrifice her to get what they want: ultimate demonic power. Fortunately for Rael, the world is full of demon hunters too. Hunters turn out to be people willing to stand between her and the demon cults out to get her. Unfortunately, not every hunter is created equal, and it’s confusing to her to sort out the good guys from the bad guys in this mixed-up new world. The question for Rael now is whether she can stay one step ahead of all the cults long enough to sort out who she is and what she wants to be. In the end, the best way to defend herself against them all might be to join the club and become a demon hunter herself.

Filled with quirky characters, Rise of the Demon Hunter: A Rael Armstrong Adventure is a fast-paced, action-packed occult adventure story.
