Publisher's Summary

She was the one piece of his past he'd never put behind him.

Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author L. Wilder brings listeners a new installment in the Satan's Fury MC- Memphis series.

I'd spent years trying to put the past behind me. I wanted to forget the mistakes I'd made and the dreams I'd lost, but they were a part of me. They'd made me into the man I'd become - a brother of Satan's Fury.

I wore my cut with pride. It was a constant reminder of how far I'd come and who'd helped me get there. I had my life all figured out until the day Darcy Harrington came walking in the Satan's Fury garage.

I thought I'd put the strong-willed, foulmouthed beauty behind me. I was wrong.

She was back and just as infuriatingly stubborn and full of sass as I remembered. I'd always tried to resist the pull I felt towards her, but that was about to change.

I'd learned to fight for what I wanted, and I wanted her.

Rider is book seven of the Satan's Fury MC. Memphis Chapter. While this audiobook is a continuation of the series, it can be listened to as a standalone. Rider is a full-length novel with no cheating and a swoon-worthy HEA.

Rider

This is book 7 to the Memphis series and is Rider and Darcy’s book. Rider had the perfect life until he didn’t. Darcy has had to make it in her own, and she starts to work for the MC in their shop as a painter. This is a beautifully written story which is filled with action, danger, suspense, love, and 2nd chances. Which all had me enthralled throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all!

I loved how this audible the character actually talked to each other. In the specific female or male voice. It was different than your usual audible. I really liked it too. I’ve listened to many books and this was a very first for me!

Great story, great narration!

I love when the narrators read the chapters together. I always get thrown when the male tries to read as the female. In this story Darcy and Caleb knew each other as kids, but reconnect as adults when she gets a job as the painter in the Satan’s Fury garage. Things come to a head with Satan’s Fury and the Disciples when Kennedy is kidnapped. Well written story with a great narration.

Great Story

The rider was another great book from L Wilder. Fast-paced. This is a great story. I loved listening to more of the characters from previous books. Highly recommend this story.

Outstanding Storyline

This is a great story building on behalf of the author. Two young people still in school became good friends, both from different sides of the track. Due to circumstances, they went their separate ways. Get it you'll enjoy.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is an excellent story. Nice mix of MC entropy and a fun romance. I've liked this entire story. I would definitely recommend it.

This is amazing

I love listening to this author's stories following her MC clubs. She puts so much love in these men’s stories that you just have to fall for them. I will wait for the next chapter of these guys' history.

Made My Day

Rider and Darcy have a delightful love story, but rival gangs and paybacks put them and the members of Satan's Fury in danger. I love how everything comes together.

I Liked The Dialogues

Rider and Darcy are the excellent extensions to Satan’s Fury family! Following their journey through past strains and new dangers coming forth. Wilder’s biker world just keeps growing better and better!! Recommended!

Exciting

I think that L Wilder writes the best MC books- I don't know much about MCs but I do think that her books have a fantastic balance of action and romance. I buy her ebooks once she releases them. This book had my heart pounding. First the romance- Rider/Caleb and Darcy knew each other when they were younger with them being from different parts of town. Rider was in an accident and because of that, he spiraled and therefore, he and Darcy lost touch. Years later, Darcy and Rider met each other again when Darcy started working for Satan's Fury. They started to get closer but then they had to face danger as a gang targets Kennedy.

I have to admit that I can't understand the whole patriarchial aspect of the MC but I assume that this is likely true. So, while that aggravates, especially because danger hits because the women aren't fully informed. However, if that is how the MCs are conducted, it isn't a negative reflection on the writer.

I requested and received the audiobook which is pretty good. It is duet style so the male narrator, Jack Ares, takes all the male parts and the female narrator, Marie Rose, took all the female parts. I love this style because it makes it more like a play. Jack Ares sounds older than I would have pictured Rider but he did an amazing job with all the different voices. Marie Rose also did well but I felt like she sounded a bit too young and cheery throughout the whole book, even when she should have been a little less so. And the other thing is that sometimes the audio was loud and others too soft- at times, it was intentional (ie if they were playing someone speaking on a phone) but other times, it felt like a mistake. These issues are minor though and overall, I really enjoyed the narration and the narrators did a great job.
