Entertaining story and performance
This book has a variety of enjoyable characters and twisty mysteries. The story moves at a nice pace and the performance is very good. I will read and/or listen to more in this series. Very entertaining.

I am loving this series, but with the two love interest, I'm not loving the way it looks like Kate is heading.
I would recommend this series.

the female detective is miserable and brings it all upon herself. I am surprised that a female writer heaped all the female bad female cop stereotypes on her detective not to mention just plain bad police work.
