It's a pitch. Pushing his seminar in every chapter

What disappointed you about Rich Habits?

Every chapter begins with a different tragic, sap story and ends with how someone invited them to the "Rich Habits" seminar and changed their life. The only thing you will get from this book is that you need to go to his seminar, otherwise there is no value.

What could Thomas C. Corley have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He could have tried to offer some real practical or inherent value in some way, I spent my money and even worse, my time, listening to what ended up providing no value whatsoever. I kept reading thinking it would redeem itself at the end but it doesn't.

Would you be willing to try another one of Rich Grimshaw’s performances?

Maybe. I didn't have a problem with the narrator.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It tugs at your heart strings a little with the stories. A father losing his wife to cancer and having to raise the children on his own, unfortunately, it ends with him getting invited to this seminar and magically turning it all around.

Any additional comments?

A fine display of someone filling the internet with useless content and wasting peoples time with a book that will only benefit the author. If you want to pitch someone, don't try to fool them by doing it this way. There are far more creative ways to gather leads as an digital marketer.

Very disappointed no real information

Would you try another book from Thomas C. Corley and/or Rich Grimshaw?

Probably not

What was most disappointing about Thomas C. Corley’s story?

The author starts talking about these 10 rules but never tells what these rules are. Just tells stories how people find these 10 rules and do better.

Horrible

Very repetitive and boring... seriously don’t waste your time. Trying to sell the course in every chapter.

Research based information on success habits

The book which is in a story form. It brings together the habits of successful people.
It also has strategies on changing beliefs which lead to those habits.
Test the ideas and implement them. It will change our lives.

Rich Habits - for Life

Very well done and narrated. A good how-to in setting your life up for success. It's more than money but relationships, character and balance provide the most happiness. A good, quick must listen for all.

Practical and Efficient

Indeed, it may seem like a self-serving book, but the methodology, compared with others, is quite simple and to the point of success.

Highly recommended for the ones seeking excellence and success. Quite appropriate for men who seek value in their lives.

A must.

Handy tips

Useful tips that can be implemented by nearly everyone. I didn't enjoy the narrator's voice as much as I had hoped I would, I found it robotic and not very relaxing to listen to. Probably the kind of book best owned as a paperback in order to underline and revisit personal notes made.

SIMPLE ADVICE BUT WORTH HEARING

The success habits are pretty obvious and won't cause any revelations (such as keep fit and nurture good relationships) that said common sense isn't always common practice, so good to have a reminder!

Don't bother

Useless pap, full of fluff, platitudes and made-up stories that don't teach anything new.
The kind of self-help/business book that gives the whole industry a bad name.
Don't bother.

Good listen

Good overview but not enough detail on the actual steps one must follow to become successful. Maybe the actual book, rather than the audio book, is more effective in outlining the steps.

This book is a waste of time & effort & money.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This book says nothing new and provides little more than a simple to-do list for a morning routine. The list is little more than a wish list of 'what' to do, missing the 'why' and missing the 'how'. Although many of the habits are intuitively sensible, there is no research, no science, no reality. Finally, to say something as incorrect and ridiculous as 'successful people don't sit around and get depressed' is just plain wrong .... like so much else in this thinly veiled advertorial piece for CPAs.

Scam

Absolute waste of a credit or your money.
DO NOT buy this audible book. Trying to work out a way to get a refund. Absolute nonsense content. Just stupid stories with no significant useful content.
