Publisher's Summary

A mistress-turned-wife with a dream marriage gone wrong. The perfect plan for payback. And fallout so explosive, even winning may mean losing it all.

The new Mrs. Rashad Eason can't believe it. She dreamed, schemed, and seduced her way to media adoration and a fairy-tale wedding to the lover she stole from his wife. But the honeymoon phase turns into something more shattering when the groom begins to reminisce about his ex, Kiara, and devises a plan to win her back. No way is Nicole going to stand for this. If she can't be the picket-fence wife, she'll be the picture-perfect, very rich widow. And sexing her ex-con first love will ensure his help - and keep her hot and satisfied through those lonely grieving nights.

But in the game of love and revenge, everyone has a score to settle. And when karma rears its ugly head, no one can stay safe.

To keep her own hands clean, Nicole must spin new lies, flip new scripts - and deal with the ultimate betrayal. Keeping her enemies close means igniting secrets and revelations even Nicole doesn't see coming. And as an avalanche of scandal threatens to shatter everything she's trying to keep, the last woman standing may be the biggest loser of all.

Narrator's almost stopped me from finishing

Loved the
storyline. Didn't care for the voice of the person who did the reading for the men... I would have enjoyed this book more if
author had utilized the same narrator's from first two installments.

Narrator is terrible!!!

I am ONE HOUR into the book and I can't do it.... The narrator is terrible... She is trying to do Southern Accents but everyone sounds like a slave...
Book 1 & 2 were ok... As much as I want to know how it all ends I can't do it... Its been an HOUR and they are still at the wedding... The story is draggggggiiiinnnnngggggg the conversation with Nicole and Shyla was like 45mins... Now with her Mom it's been another 20mins so far and both conversations are repetitive... This is terrible...

Love the story but HATED the narrator!

I loved the continued story line. However I wish the narrator from the 1st book would have read this follow up story. Mispronunciation of words and her accent just wasn’t a fit and such a turnoff.

Awful

The way the book started was intriguing; however, I could not take the narrator in following chapter; even though I wanted to hear the rest of the book, just couldn’t listen any longer. This book needs to be narrated by the original narrator of the first two books!

Awful Narrator

The series was great but this book was the worst. Mostly because of the narration. I couldn't wait to finish it so I wouldn't have to hear that voice (cringe). This one was all over the place but I thought the series as a whole was decent!

The Narrator Sucked...

The book was a good series, but the narrator Lisa Smith that did the first 2, did way better with the voice overs than the chick that did this one. I can’t even remember her name, but she made all the women sound like some country bumpkins & made all the men sound like OLD men! She sucked narrating this book, I wish Lisa would have done this one too, at least you knew which woman was talking without anyone sayin their name when they were talkin....the men sounded somewhat the same, but you still knew who was who & you could tell which ones were really young & which ones were a little older. This chick has EVERYONE sounding country & old as hell! Just cuz their in Texas didn’t mean she had to make all them sound like that, people born & raised in Texas don’t sound that country.....she could have just had Nicole sounding country since she was the one from Alabama, but NOT EVERYBODY! I hope she’s not narrating anymore of Cydney‘a books! Smh
